A "Busy Bee"

It felt like there was just so much to prove as a newly graduated student entering the workforce. You had to do anything in your power to avoid rejection and unemployment. Any moment taking a break felt like a moment wasted progressing towards your goals. In the end, it only hurts you when you burn out and are forced to take a break at the most inconvenient time. In no way am I saying productivity is bad, it's definitely a helpful stabilizer in my life in healthy doses, but I'm also aware of how addicting it can be.

yeah its quite scary, hope you take care of yourself this break!
Ahhh... this one really hit home, this was when I realized that deriving "workaholic" from "alcoholic" is eerily accurate... the addiction is real, and numbing pain with more work is an endless cycle
