I mean, even to this day I still struggle with a bit of imposter syndrome, but I definitely gained more confidence since then. I always thought that the smallest mistakes I made could get me fired, since I wasn't as familiar about the subtleties of working in a professional environment yet. I constantly feared that if I couldn't keep up with the pace of the project timeline, didn't hit every single note a director wanted, or had a different idea than originally envisioned, people would eventually feel like they hired some amateur who had no place in the studio. Even when receiving compliments from my higher ups, I still somewhat felt nervous about how maybe next time will be when they realized they wasted their budget on this bish. But of course, after exposing myself to more projects, teams, and studios, I slowly gained more confidence to have LESS of those thoughts. For the most part, things never turned out as bad as I originally catastrophized, and I end up feeling silly for making a big deal out of it 😅🥊

That anxiety never leaves. I still am at this point where if the supervisor has NOTHING to say but "looks good, keep going" it's the most wonderful result ever
