I might as well be me (uncensored)
🕑 Added 2019-11-22 00:18:39 +0000 UTCI'm sure we all get a little existential from time to time over the lingering thoughts of other's perceptions of ourselves, even when we were never in the wrong to begin with. But ultimately, I would rather be disliked for who I am rather than loved for who I'm not. (Disclaimer that this is not an excuse to do things to harm others under the excuse that "this is just how I am.")
Even though I've already answered this question multiple times, I'll say it again here. The reason I make comics about a demon / devil girl, is simply because it's almost unavoidable to please everyone in the world. Someone out there will always view an aspect of your personality or the way you live your life as "taboo" in their own, even when you're a harmless soul. To some people I am a devil, to others I'm an angel.
If speaking my truth, and standing up for myself and my values make me a devil, then fine -- view me as the devil. But maybe if you gave my story a chance to be thoroughly heard, you'll see that my heart is nothing like one.

Good stuff Michelle. Those who do not like devil peaches in the first place are not worth the time nor energy. <3 It can be so hard to accept because we all want to be liked by everyone, but it is good to check in and remind ourselves to focus on ourselves and the people that do accept us for who we really are. Keep being the amazing you. ~Joslyn
