A solid coding induced migraine later, and scientists are finally in and functional!
I'm so sorry this build has taken absolutely forever - it actually is also still lacking the new executive enemies, but at this point I wanted to just hurry up and get the functional parts of the update released since I think you all have been kept waiting long enough. The start of this year has been a rough for me - I don't like getting to into details about personal life, but I want to share a few of them occasionally so that you all are kept in the loop about what's slowing things down since this is a one person dev team. Aside from my last computer biting the dust at the start of the year, business taxes eating another chunk of work time, family still needing to occasionally call on me for farm work, needing to work some odd jobs like pet sitting and firewood sales to make finances meet, and a family member needing to be hospitalized for surgery, it's been an exhausting few months. Don't worry too much about me, I'm finding ways to manage - if you can continue to spare me your patience that will be all I need!
The executives are still coming soon, within the next week or so I'll release another build with them - but for right now, I only just finished all the scientist code today as a result of how many things had to be changed up to account for their different size. The executives will be much simpler since they exist at a standard size already - they'll need some new functions written for their new behaviors, and I'll have to tweak some code from other enemies so the executives can have special variants that follow them around, but it shouldn't be nearly as complicated as the scientist.
