I was afraid this would soon be relevant. 😞 Had to put my/ our family cat to sleep today. It’s grief mixed with guilt for „taking his life“ which makes me physically ill. Fuck that shit hurts. He had a good and long (18yrs) life though ❤️‍🩹✨🌈🐱 🖤

I put my other dog to sleep last week 😭😭 losing both within two months, my heart ❤️‍🩹I missed them stealing food from the counter. It feels strange when I got home and nothing was waiting at the door.

He is the happiest cat. We got him when I was a year old and he was about 3ish weeks, and for some reason, he imprinted on me. So, whenever I am home, he will legit follow me around like a dog and constantly paw at me hoping for attention. I love him so damn much.

Oh, I am so hoping I won’t have to listen to this for real any time soon. I have a tabby cat who is about 17 years old this year, meaning he is unfortunately nearing the end of his life. He’s been with me since childhood, I don’t know what I’d do without him.
