Emi's 3rd Pregnancy #9 - Month-aversery!
🕑 Added 2025-03-02 19:02:31 +0000 UTCWas afraid this pose was going to be too similar to #8, but the idea of Emi tilting her phone like this (+ her laying more on her back) saved it!
Hang in there Emi!!!!

(Week 39)
“Aaaahhh! That’s fucking COLD, Aya!” Emi screamed. “Would it kill you to at least rub it between your hands for a bit first? You’re going to give me a heart attack!”
Aya looked up from the spot where she was gently spreading lotion across Emi’s belly. At 39 weeks pregnant, the skin of her belly was extremely red and crisscrossed with angry looking stretch marks. It was stretched extremely taut, was easily irritated, and required Aya or Matt to coat the entire surface of her gravid womb in several bottles of lotion twice a day.
“Don’t you dare-” Aya narrowed her eyes and started to say before Emi cut her off.
“It’s because you’re a doctor isn’t it?” Emi chided “Your cute dress won’t fool me! Your hands are as cold as your bedside manner.” Aya frowned in response.
Aya grabbed another bottle, stared Emi in the eyes, unscrewed the lid, and turned it over without breaking her gaze. She emptied the bottle’s entire contents out directly over Emi’s belly, causing a shiver to run up Emi’s spine as the cold gel coated it.
“Sadist,” Emi grumbled.
Aya simply rolled her eyes at the jab, and went back to working the lotion into Emi’s flesh. The bluenette grunted and began reaching around her engorged right breast. She slid her hand underneath and pulled her phone from the space between her boob and belly where she normally kept it. A reminder notification caught her eye, and she immediately perked up. She tapped through a few menus then waited as the phone rang a couple times.
Susan appeared on the screen “Hello?”
“Happy Month-aversery!” Emi shouted.
On the other end of the phone Susan’s eyebrows furrowed in confusion for a moment. Then her eyes went wide, and her mouth dropped open in shock and recognition.
“Emi?!” she finally gasped.
“Hey girl! How’s motherhood?” Emi smirked.
Susan put her hand to her mouth as she continued to gawk through the screen. Emi cocked her head, not understanding Susan’s shock and confusion. Susan finally lowered her hand, blushed, and softly said, “I’m so sorry- I-I didn’t recognize you at first!”
Emi winced at the words and her eyes flicked down to the tiny live version of herself in the corner of the video call. Truthfully, she barely recognized herself anymore. Despite stuffing herself with as many calories as she was physically able to force down night and day, she had continued to lose weight, and that weight loss was now manifesting in areas other than her lower half.
Her face had grown thin - to the point that her normally round features were becoming almost angular. Her cheekbones stood out against her skin, and she was constantly reminded that her face was now even thinner than it was when she was in high school. The perpetual bags under eyes from getting woken up constantly by her grumbling stomach or the need to drain her constantly engorged breasts were now a seemingly permanent feature on her face as well.
Her normally perfectly styled and magnificently dyed aqua hair had almost entirely reverted back to its natural onyx black color. Because of her immense size there was no longer any feasible way for her to go and get it styled or touched up for color. All but the very tips were that same boring shade of flat jet-black that she hadn’t seen since adolescence. Back before she’d dyed it in protest. It now even lacked the volume and the hold that her regular perm provided, stringy and even more damaged than normal for someone that regularly dyed it.
Her nails had become soft and weak. Her skin was red and blotchy and her lips seemed to always be chapped or cracked. Anything that wasn’t belly or breast looked thin, and frail. Aya was starting to become concerned that even her bones had been weakened, her body drawing as much calcium as it could to help build the twenty four souls she was carrying within her.
Emi sighed softly. It was no wonder her friend barely recognized her; When she barely recognized herself.
Susan’s eyes lit up as she connected the dots in her head. Her friend’s excitement made Emi’s forced smile become a genuine one.
“Monthaversery! Right! It’s going great! I was only in the hospital a couple extra days! It’s been so hectic that things just… passed by without me even noticing. I’m super tired. How do you do it with so many? I’m legitimately worried I’ll never sleep again! Caring for them is… exhausting… but I’m also so happy to have them around. The house feels so... alive.” Susan smiled warmly. Emi giggled. She wasn’t used to her normally shy and reserved friend saying so much so quickly. Susan finished, “Being a mom just feels… right…”
“Awwww! That’s so great to hear!” Emi replied with genuine joy.
There was a long silence as Susan studied Emi through the phone.
“What?” Emi finally asked. “I got something on my face?”
Susan shook her head and her brow furrowed in concern, “I’m just… worried about you over there. I keep thinking back to what it was like for me at this point… And I… You’re not okay, are you?”
Emi’s face fell again. She sat for a moment in silence debating what to say next. She exhaled before finally looking back up at the screen, and in a small voice replied honestly for the first time to someone other than herself, “I was so excited when this first started… But now? I just can’t wait for this to be over.”
Emi heard an uneasy shuffling from beyond her belly, and felt the lack of a hand pressing to her.
Susan’s brow furrowed further in concern. Emi sighed.
“I think… I think I bit off more than I could chew this time, Suu,” Emi said quietly. She looked away from the screen again and scrunched her face as a loud growl shook her entire body.
Susan looked back awkwardly as she searched for any kind of response.
Emi looked back up and forced a grin as she shifted the subject, “But hey! I managed to convince Aya to feed me her breast milk on top of my own to help get extra calories in me, and to even lotion my body! Check it out!”
Before Susan could reply, Emi turned the phone above her head, tilting so the far curve of the belly- and Aya were both in view. Aya blushed HARD. She waved awkwardly toward the camera, but then just as quickly dipped her head and went back to spreading out the lotion. Emi heard a gasp from the phone, seeing Susan’s shocked face as she turned the phone back to herself.
“You’re enormous Emi!” Susan said.
Emi chuckled, “That’s what three pregnancies do to you. What about you? Are you going to go for another round?”
Susan’s eyes went wide, as she violently shook her head. “No way! I can barely keep up as is and... the milk…,” she trailed off.
“That’s okay! Having a big family isn’t for everyone,” Emi gently rubbed the top of her belly fondly before continuing. “I’ve always wanted a big family though. And I’m excited for when these little ones finally get to join the chaos!”
There was suddenly a cry from behind Susan. She jumped slightly and looked behind her.
Emi giggled, “I know that sound.”
“Sorry, that’s Samantha! I guess she wants more milk…,” Susan sighed. “I gotta go.”
“Go take care of the little ones. I just wanted to congratulate you!” Emi made a shooing motion into the camera.
Susan looked back to the phone with more genuine concern, “Thank you Emi.... but I’m still worried about you. H-hang… hang in there, and good luck, okay?” She was delightfully awkward.
She hung up the phone, and placed it on her belly. In spite of everything… She somehow felt a lot better.
The moment ended just as quickly as it came however. Emi practically jumped as another cold hand touched her belly. She leaned around her massive bulk and did her best to glare down at Aya, “Seriously?! I’m trying to have a moment here!”
Aya rolled her eyes again, and continued rubbing lotion into Emi’s belly, “So are we going to talk about it?”
Emi hummed to herself. “Later. I promise. For now, let me just enjoy this moment, okay?”
