(Week 38)
Emi groaned as she swallowed the last of the meal replacement bars that were supposed to consist of her lunch. She made a face and popped her tongue out of her mouth in disgust. After having eaten them almost exclusively for the last few weeks, she had officially developed an aversion to them. It didn’t matter the flavor now- Emi hated them all. But she didn’t have a choice.
As a result of the rapid weight loss that Emi was experiencing across the majority of her body, and the explosive growth in her breasts and womb, Aya had put Emi on an extremely calorie-dense diet. Consisting almost entirely of high-protein and meal replacement bars. Despite having fun flavors like “Chocolate” and “Mint” they still tasted terrible, were hard to chew and made her stomach feel bloated. Aya had hoped it would help keep Emi’s body from pulling any further nutrients from her bones and muscles, as almost all of her residual fat had already been repurposed. Emi’s growing brood now demanding vastly more calories than three square meals could provide.
“Matt!” She yelled from her perch on the couch. “I don’t want to sound ungrateful, but can you hurry it up?” Emi pouted.
Her husband appeared in the doorway behind her with a pitcher in his hand; Filled with the secondary option for additional calories and nutrition. Emi turned her head to look over her shoulder. She followed him with it as he made his way around the couch.
“Was just about to come bring this anyways,” he replied as he stood as close to her as her massive body would allow. “You were due.”
“I wish,” Emi reached her hand out, flailing her hands, and grunting as she tried to reach over her belly, “Still don’t understand why I can’t just keep it in a thermos or a water bottle or something. It’s dumb that you have to keep bringing it to me.”
Matt sighed, pulling it closer to him and out of her reach. “Aya went over this already. Human breast milk isn’t pasteurized, and you’re MASSIVELY pregnant. It has to be refrigerated, and then consumed right away. Her ONE condition on sharing her excess with you was that you follow the rules so you don’t get sick.”
“Yeah, yeah… I heard it the first time,” Emi grumbled. “Now gimme. These bars are the absolute WORST. I need to get the taste out of my mouth.”
Matt extended the pitcher back out, and Emi snatched it with both hands. She immediately held it up to her face and began guzzling the breast milk. Matt watched as his wife chugged, seemingly unimpeded by a need to breath or take a break. Her throat worked as he watched the vessel steadily empty. Thin lines of white began dribbling down her chin on either side of the lip of the pitcher.
Emi tipped the thing back, making sure all of it made it into her mouth. She handed it back to her husband with one hand, wiped her mouth with the back of another, and belched loudly.
“Jesus, woman,” Matt laughed.
“You love it,” Emi giggled.
“You’re not wrong,” he replied. “Need anything else? Or you good for the moment?”
She shook her head, and replied, “I’m good. I think.”
“Just let me know,” he said before he leaned over, kissed her forehead, wiping twin trails of milk from her chin with a napkin. and disappeared to go care for one of their other children.
Emi let out a contented sigh as her hunger was seemingly satiated for the moment. She slid her arms up onto the back of the couch and looked out at the body in front of her. It was a body that now completely dominated the giant piece of furniture. Her breasts filled the seats to either side of her, and her belly was now so large it spilled over the front of the sofa. She kept her small feet sticking out from either side of her belly and breast to keep them cool from the heat radiating from her growing body.
Two different colored blankets covered the tops of her breasts giving her some semblance of modesty. It wasn’t a concept that her eldest kids cared much about, taking full advantage of Emi’s inability to clothe herself. With her unable to stop them, they regularly spent play-time drawing on her belly with markers. Other than Matt or Aya showing her a photo, she had no way of even seeing the drawings, or just how covered she was in them.
The gentle chugging sound reminded her that somewhere on the far side of her expansive breasts she was hooked up to her pump and was being actively emptied out for her afternoon letdown. Her milk had finally come in during the middle of the last week, and while the output wasn’t exceptional for her size it was still an excessive amount of milk for any other mother. She felt her nipples gently tugging in tandem as the pump worked her dry.
She let out another exhale and suddenly felt a familiar twinge in her abdomen. Like a low rolling thunder cloud the entire couch started to rumble as her stomach grumbled, still clearly unsatisfied and demanding more. It was like an unquenchable forge that constantly needed fuel.
“Uuughhh.... Come ON” Emi groaned in response to her belly’s latest demand.
She looked to couch on either side of her, and found nothing but wrappers for the dreaded food bars strewn about either side of her. She couldn’t see a single uneaten one. Getting up unassisted wasn’t an option anymore. Between her tiny frame and her rapidly decreasing muscle mass, her small body was no longer strong enough to lift herself off the couch. It took both Aya’s and Matt’s combined help. Even simple things like waddling to and from the bedroom or the bathroom required them to help hold her up on shaky legs.
“AYA? MATT?” She shouted across the house.
Emi heard footsteps come down the stairs. She leaned as best she could in that direction expecting to see Matt coming back. Instead it was Aya coming down the stairs. She was carrying one of Emi’s youngest in her arms.
“Yes?” Aya asked as she bounced the baby in her arms.
Emi bit her lip at the sight, and put her arms out so Aya could hand the little one to her. Aya walked over and placed the wiggling child in Emi’s arms. She smiled down and picked up where Aya left off, and continued to gently rock them to sleep. Emi’s smile widened and she relished the moment. Losing her ability to care for her family had been the biggest loss, and it was one that pained her constantly.
“What did you need, Emi?” Aya whispered.
Emi looked up, and said, “Could you get me some more food. I.... I’m still hungry. And maybe some milk too?”
Aya blushed but nodded. She silently walked into the kitchen.
Emi gently rocked the little one in her arms. She frowned and whispered to herself, “This.... this isn’t fun anymore.”
She bit her lip, glancing up towards the second floor where the others were.
