-----------------
Emi entered her 16th week of her third pregnancy with minimal complications. Things had progressed so well that she currently found herself in one of her least favorite places: the hospital. Going out had never been one of her strong-suits to begin with, and with a body like hers things like stares and cat calls were inevitable. It wasn’t something that she particularly minded, but she knew it meant she would have to fuck Matt later to work off the pent up sexual energy.
Emi swung her legs back and forth as she waited on the sonography bed. Matt stood leaning up against the wall with his arms crossed, having refused to take a seat. Emi could feel her husband’s nervous energy from across the room.
“Sheesh, lighten up will you? You’re gonna give me ulcers,” Emi playfully rolled her eyes at him as she tried to lighten the mood.
Matt’s eyes slid over to her. Her husband was clearly not in the mood. The look of ‘I told you so…’ burned like a fire in his gaze.
“You can tell me I probably made a giant mistake later, okay?” She said laughing to his wordless stare. “This is supposed to be a special moment. Can we make it a special moment?”
Before he could reply the door opened, and a cart rolled in. It was followed by Aya. Despite the amount of time they regularly spent together it was rare for Emi to see her in scrubs and a lab coat. The young doctor was typically more focused on her research than she was on practicing medicine. Though to say Aya was not a fully capable obstetrician was a bit of a stretch, and that sentiment mirrored her strained scrubs.
Aya’s pregnancy had been extremely kind to her physically, and far from any kind of an inconvenience. The decuplets had left Aya with a wonderfully large pair of breasts that hung down to her hips. Her incredible mammaries stretched her top to the limit, and gently pushed her jacket to either side despite her best attempts to hide them. Emi even noticed two small protrusions tenting the light blue fabric of the woman’s scrubs where it was obvious that Aya still wasn’t comfortable wearing such a large bra regularly.
Aya grabbed her clipboard from the side of the cart, and slid her hair back over her glasses. Her wedding ring glinted in the harsh fluorescent light of the exam room as she did so.
She adjusted her glasses, and looked down at Emi before finally addressing her, “Okay. Sorry to have you come all the way down here, but the growth of your belly is progressing much more quickly than even I anticipated. So I wanted to do a sonogram to see if we can confirm just how many you’re actually carrying.”
“Too many buns in the oven?” Emi smiled “Or am I just that good?”
Matt rolled his eyes from his perch on the wall.
“Speaking of good… You’re looking damn fine,” Emi said, as she reached up and pulled Aya’s coat open wider. She giggled as she tried to get a better look at the woman’s post-pregnancy bustline.
Aya deftly swatted Emi’s hand away with her pen and then readjusted her glasses again, “Shoo. This is a professional setting, Emi. Now lay down, and spread your breasts apart so I can perform a sonogram.”
Emi grimaced. All the fun was suddenly gone, but she ultimately did as she was told. Emi gathered her massive breasts as best she could, and began shifting them to either side of herself in the bed. As she did, she heard Aya rummaging in the cart. It took Emi several minutes before she finally had herself arranged appropriately. When she finally did a bump that was already well over the size of a full term belly on any normal person came into view.
Aya turned back around, this time a sonogram device in one hand and a tube of examination jelly in the other. Emi could swear she saw Aya smirk as the woman squeezed the tube of jelly over Emi’s stomach. It made a farting sound, and Emi giggled at the noise. The laughter turned to an unexpected gasp as the cold jelly contacted her skin. The sensation caused her to flinch.
When Aya had finished applying the gel, she placed the device on Emi’s skin and slowly began moving it across her belly. She worked off of a computer monitor attached to the cart, and stopped every so often to snap digital pictures or adjust the dials on the device itself. She would occasionally pause to silently write notes on her clipboard as well.
With a heavy sigh Aya finally returned the ultrasound machine to its rack on the cart, and handed Emi a rag to wipe down her belly with. It was then that Matt finally pushed off the wall, and took the rag from his wife. She smiled at him as he sat on the edge of the bed and cleaned her stomach for her.
Aya typed a few more things into the computer attached to her cart, and turned the monitor to face Emi and Matt in the bed. All either could see was a grainy black and white image filled with a large grouping of grey smudges.
“It’s as I suspected,” she explained to Emi and Matt, and gestured to the ultrasound image of the inside of Emi’s womb. “Emi is officially having a high-order pregnancy.”
Emi felt her heartbeat roar in her ears as it practically jumped out of her chest. She quietly asked, “How high-order are we talking?”
“If my count is right, and it should be because I did it three times… Twenty four,” Aya confirmed, as she reached a stylus out to the screen and began ticking off the smudges on the screen in front of both of them.
“Seriously?” Emi gasped and looked to Matt. Her husband was completely pale.
Emi looked back at Aya, who was looking back at her with complete seriousness. She heard Matt take a deep breath beside her, then burst out in laughter. It instantly confused both women. They looked at each other, and then back to Matt. He simply smiled and gave Emi a side-eyed look.
“Told you,” Matt declared. He took another deep breath. “Welp. That’s about what I expected to happen. God, it’s so good to have THAT over with.” Matt exhaled again and then pointed towards Emi. “You’re fucked.”
Before she could react he leaned around her massive chest, and shoved his face close to her’s. “But that’s why I like you,” he said softly, before planting a kiss on her forehead. Emi smiled.
