Steve Notes SD 7/30/21
🕑 Added 2021-07-31 02:26:56 +0000 UTCCena comes out, we get a recap package, says Roman is a scared kid, says he’s ducking him cuz he didn’t change his gimmick. It’s like austin coming back as Sasquatch Steve Houston. Or if rock came back as Dwayne 2Small Johnson, or he’d say do you consent to touch what the rock is barely holding? Reigns expected me to change because that’s what he wanted to do. He has to change every two years cuz you stop caring about him. Cuz he doesn’t believe in himself. He’s a lazy stooge named joe who cruises by on gimmick changes, who’s embarrassed to fail. You’re afraid to fight me cuz of how I’d make you look.
Baron comes out! Look can we hold on a minute we gotta talk man. Cena says they’re chanting yoh suck but I don’t know who you are… BARON?? You look…
Corbin: horrible I know!! I’m in a bad way man!
Cena yeh you look horrible
Baron says we’ve never been close but I’m desperate. My life is falling apart. Last week I sustained an injury to a very sensitive part of my body and now I’m a unable to…
Cena: surf the internet? Walk in the park?
Baron I can’t perform!! My wife left and took the kids. I’m back there and see the charitable John Cena who grants so many wishes, can you help me?
Cena: twin cities should we help the man?
Crowd chants no
Cena gives him like $20
Corbin says this is it? Put me in the suicide squad!
Cena: we’re done with that! Comes out this Friday!
Corbin: I’ll be your stunt double!
Cena: that’s a bit of a reach
Corbin: seriously? You’re gonna kick a poor man when he’s down? You’re a selfish self absorbed tight wad with an ego the size of California you Hollywood sellout. I’m gonna give you something you desperately need: an attitude adjustment. He also takes the money back.
Backstage Dom says he gonna keep an eye on Jey when Rey fights Jimmy. Rey says you need to step your game up if you wanna get those tag titles back
Jimmy Uso vs Rey
Rey goes for a 619, Jey intercepts him but gets hit with the 619 trying to, on the other side Jimmy catches Rey but Rey counters with a crucifix pin, propped by Dom the same way the Usos gave it to them.

Bianca Belair interview
You’ve passed 100 days, 110 days, congrats: how do you see the next 100 days?
These past few months have been great, rolling loud, winning espy, being back in front of fans, I don’t know how I’m gonna top it.
Carmella interrupts- says if you really wanna cement your legacy, give me one more shot. We all saw what happened at rolling loud, the light was in my face— Zelina Vega interrupts. Carmela slow ur roll, ur too pretty to be a third time loser and Bianca, I think that the wwe universe wants to see you challenge a rising star like me because I am the moment and no one is more deserving than me. Bianca says you’re on, mella attacks, Vega helps out SASHA BANKS RETURNS
she takes out mella and vega, hugs Bianca, raises her hand, hugs her again
Reggie interview. Are you comfortable defending your title this way? It was my dream to be here, I saw my opportunity with the 24/7 title. I’ve got my head on a swivel always on the lookout for trouble. Whomever decides to challenge me, expect the unexpected.
Reggie vs Otis
Otis says it’s not me, it’s him.
Otis lays out Reggie.
Reggie vs Gable
Reggie jumps out of a German suplex, hits his flipping senton on Gable, Otis attacks him, Otis Throws Reggie out of the ring, he lands on his feet and gets away
Sonya: tonight’s main event will be mella/Vega vs Sasha/Bianca
Roman/Finn contract signing
Crowd chants Cena
Roman says we already say mr missionary tonight. Finn did you catch cena’s promo? He thinks I’m ducking him. He thinks your a lesser man than him. But I don’t think this. I think you’re worthy to challenge for the universal challenge and worthy to catch this beat down at Summerslam. But just for the record. You don’t come out here with the same old shtick. Your hungry. I dig that about you. If you sign this contract. I’m gonna smash you and send you right back to NXT.
Crowd chants Roman sucks.
Roman signs
Finn: you think pretty highly of yourself. But it’ll be my priveledge to return to NXT once again universal champion. Baron attacks Finn. Throws Finn over the barricade. Corbin has the contract. He’s about to sign it. Cena comes down, throws him out. Gets the sharpie, looks at Finn, shrugs, signs it instead. Mcafee is hilarious. Says I went to zero law schools. But I’m sure I saw CENA on that contract!
Heyman runs into Pearce and Sonya backstage, he says what are you gonna do about Summerslam? Let’s be real here, it’s Finns name on the contract, this ain’t legally binding. Pearce says I see Roman and I see Cena, his has been ratified, reigns vs Cena
Six man dark tag match from last week
Cesaro/Nakamura/Big E vs Dolph/Apollo/Roode
Nakamura wins with Kinshasa
**
Rollins boots edge during commercial then smashed edges head with a tv camera
Rollins: all edge has done is take and take and take. What comes around goes around, that’s why they call it a revolution, roll the footage!
Recap
I am not ashamed of anything I have done I am proud of that. Crowd chants we want Becky. He says I am the heir to the universal title, and if I can’t have that neither can edge.
