We start with a recap of HBK wearing his girl’s volleyball ref outfit for Triple H to win vs. the rock
Cole is throwback Cole with denim shirt, McAfee is early Vince
Roman/Heyman/Jey come out, Heyman offer up a ten bell salute to eulogize the career of Daniel Bryan- but Heyman does the bell sound himself, and Roman chuckles
Unlike DB, I’m a man of my word, I did what I said I’d do. I put everything on my back and I carried it. And because of this, you should acknowledge me, celebrate me, I always give you what you want. I give Fox what they want, Smackdown, even DB, what he wanted. He didn’t wanna be here, I smashed him, pinned him, got rid of him. If he wanted to be here, all he had to do was acknowledge me. With his absence, we’ve replaced him with someone who will acknowledge me. JIMMY USO!!!!!!
He comes to the ring and celebrates his return, but Cesaro interrupts- hold on, did I hear you right? Did you say you replaced DB? You can never replace DB. I don’t have time for you, I have my match with Rollins, and-- Rollins attacks from behind.
Oh dear, Teddy Long comes out- says Cesaro, if you beat Rollins, I’ll give you your title shot at Backlash, Cesaro gets in the ring, they throw him back out, Rollins throws him into the steps.

Sami comes in, happy to see Teddy, tells him about the massive conspiracy, he says he knows he’s not in on it. He wants a match for the IC title- Teddy says tonight he will go one on one with the undertaker. Sami says I don’t know if thats better, he’s retired! Teddy says tonight you get to tag WITH Apollo against KO, Big E and Shinsuke! Teddy says it’s a ten man tag match! With Otis/Gable and King Booker! Teddy says start dancing, they all start dancing.
The Usos show up, Roman says you’ve been here one hour, I put the spotlight on you, you screw it up, you had a lot of time off to get this right. YOu miss, and now I gotta clean your mess. Jimmy says FIRST OFF, you ain’t gonna be talking to me like you talk to my brother, and second, I ain’t nobody’s bitch. Roman says go handle this.
Ruby Riott vs Carmella

Bayley’s Celebration of Smackdown Women Champions!
I’m not here to talk about myself, I’m here to pay tribute to some our fellow women’s champions. The ones that led us with smiles on their faces, put their bodies on the line for us. Let’s pay tribute. ALundra Blaze, an OG. Jackie, killer in the ring, first ever AA CW champion, only woman to hold that title, held the women’s champion twice. She keeps comparing the champs to herself. Lita, Trish, Ivory, Beth, Molly. Bianca, if shes not careful, she’ll end up like the others, NOT ON MY LEVEL. I’m only looking out for her. I see insecurity when I look in her eyes. I’m gonna be her first and last challenger, cuz I’m gonna beat her and show the WWU I was right about her all along.
Bianca comes out.
I’m living my best life, it’s only gonna get better at Mania Backlash. Insecure? Girl, uh-uh. You wish. It’s my confidence that bothers you. It’s my confidence that powers me and my fans, thanks for your concern, worry about yourself. I’m on my way to becoming the longEST reigning SD champ- if you think at BL I’m gonna do anything but winning-- Bayley laughs, tries to sucker take her down, Bianca defended, got her in the corner, beat her up. Bayley grabs her by the earring, pulls at it.
In the hallway, Jimmy calls Jey a bitch, used to be just us, Jey says we’re stronger together. Jimmy says hes the head of the table, I NEED YOU, if you asked that of ROman, he’d say no. We need each other. YOu wanna talk about family, RR, Uni champion, Jimmy and Jey, tag team champions.
Rey and Dom come out, the Dirty Dawgs come out, Dolph runs down Dom, Dom challenges him to a match, Dolph accepts, gets hit with a rollup for 3

Reggie does his typical gym routine, Tamina gets him on the verge of a loss, going upstairs, NIa and Shayna attack, DQ win for Tamina, Nattie tries to help, gets beat up, Shayna stomps the arm, Samoan Drop into the barricade

Apollo and his team: Like my great grandfather uniting soldiers in battle, like five fingers we are vulnerable, but together we fight!
Big E pep talks his team, it’s KO’s birthday and Shin wants the smoke
Shin/KO/Profits/Big E vs. Sami/Apollo/Academy/Corbin
Ooh, Shin and Sami go at it, the match breaks down, leaving Shin and Sami, Sami ducks a Kinshasa attempt, Corbin tags in without Nak seeing, Shin hits Sami, goes for pin, Corbin picks him up, EOD for 3
ROman is with Jey, giving him a talk, we do it for our family, because we love each other, I love you, and I love your brother. And that’s why I wanna give him the same opportunities to rise to the occasion, but I need to know where he stands, and we’re about to find out.
Eddie throwback!
Roman in the ring; this is not how I envisioned the night. It’s simple, I bring your brother back in-- Jimmy interrupts.
JImmy: Where do you stand, brother? Hardest thing I watched was the i quit match, you wouldn’t say it for nothing. Until cousin drug me in there, and choke me out. And then you said it. I quit. For me. Cuz you love me, you didn;’t wanna see me get hurt. Lets throw to footage.
Jey, don’t get hot at me, but if it were me, I woulda never said I quit to you, no matter what.
Roman: You’re still stuck on the past? Me and your brother have moved forward. I’m not gonna go back and forth with you. Its simple. Fall in line, stand with us, and acknowledge me or you can take your ass home, when you turn on the tv, explain to your kids why you’re with them, watching the tribal chief and THE Uso. Jimmy leaves, Jey goes after him, he says this would be easy if you just do it and we can get back to it. CEsaro sneak attacks, Jey is gonna go help, Jimmy holds him back, Cesaro gets the upper hand on Cesaro, Jimmy hesitates, makes the save, but Cesaro is JACKED and lays him out too. Grabs ROman and hits a neurolizer on him too.
