Charlotte attacks after the match, stares at Alexa, thereby pretty much ensuring she’s gonna lose on Sunday, Alexa and her puppet start laughing. So this was a bit awkward, but points for not starting with 10 minutes of talking.
HAHAH Riddle points out the official registration forms to the NEW DAY, Kofi says AJ and Omos did NOT fill out the forms. They talk about hitting Omos with a tomato, Riddle says it was funny when Orton got hit with a tomato, Orton is there, he is not amused, he says he finds funny ending careers, kicking people in the head, hurting legends.
MVP lurks outside Braun’s door, walks in says he’s got business to discuss. He says Lashley didn’t beat you last week, Drew did, if it wasn’t for Drew, he might have beat him. MVP says if Lashley had to lose the title, he’d rather lose it to Braun. If Drew were to be taken out tonight, it’d be a one on one match, and it would benefit Lashley and Braun. Braun says I don’t like you. MVP says it’s not personal, it’s business.
Priest vs. Miz at Backlash announced
Pearce and Priest backstage, approached by Miz and Morrison. Priest has an idea, if John can beat Priest, he gets to pick the stip for Sunday, Priest chooses the stip. Miz doesn’t want to, but Morrison accepts on their behalf.

Ryker has enough STINKY ROTTEN Tomatoes. AJ interrupts Elias’ song, points out his new goatee as aero dynamic. Omos squashes a tomato. I’ll be honest, I chuckled at Ryker here.

Fun stuff, the New Day start spinning AJ with his legs on the outside to distract Omos, Randy hits an RKO on Elias for 3

Backstage, Sonya has Asuka and Rhea, she tries to explain her side of things, she says they have tonight one on one. Rhea says is this Char’s idea, to have us fight so she can have us the upper hand? Asuka said I already fought tonight, I’ll do it again cuz i”m ready for rhea.
MVP/Lashley interview
MVP spoils the ending, Bobby says he’ll beat Drew again
MVP, what about your offer to Braun: MVP says no comment
Sheamus promo: Sheamus recalls Pearce saying he should step in the footsteps of the past champions by issuing challenges, he says why should I follow in the steps of those dopes, you should earn the title shot. Even Virk, who’s clearly out of his element at commentary, should get a shot? Humberto should come out here and earn my respect, but all he’s gonna get is a kick upside his head.
Sheamus vs. Carillo
REALLY good stuff, Carillo hits a rana from the top as Sheamus wants White Noise from up there
Carillo hits a sunset bomb to the outside from the apron, but Sheamus lands awkwardly on Carillo’s leg, Carillo signals to the ringside ref that he can’t go, ref calls the match
LHP re-introductory promo
Eva Marie at Car again
Same shit as before
Cedric Alexander vs. Shelton Benjamin
Alexander is a mad man, he has Shelton on the ropes, he has him beat, yells at commentary to give him a shoutout, he starts kicking Shelton and taunting him, Shelton springs up, gives him a nasty belly to belly for the win

Garza is taking photos, Gulak comes up, says do you respect our profession? What you did to me hasn’t happened to anyone, you embarrassed me. Garza says do you want it to happen again? Garza says maybe next time I’ll shove the rose down your throat.

This match feels a bit better than their last ones, mid-match Asuka gets distracted by Charlotte, RHea takes advantage with a headbutt, rolls Asuka in, Northern Lights Suplex for 2, Rhea gets distracted, Asuka hits hip attack from the commentary table, missile dropkick for 2, Rhea recovers, hits riptide for 3

Dorky Drew interview. Says the same shit.
Miz vs John Drip Drip
Morrison is so good. He NAILS Priest with a knee strike, gets the upper hand.
Miz distracts on the outside as the ref counts, THEY GO TO COMMERCIAL WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT THE REF WAS COUNTING
Back, Morrison kicks Priest out of the ring, distracts the ref, Miz kicks him, Morrison gets him back in the ring, pins, doesn’t get one, Miz blames it on wet floor, Priest does the BELL RING, recovers, lays in some kicks on Morrison, Broken Arrow gets 2
Priest counters spanish fly, goes for chokeslam, Morrison counters with rollup, Priest gets out, gets Morrison in Hit the lights position, Miz distracts, Morrison counters with rollup, but again, ref is distracted, doesn’t get the pin, Morrison hits HTL for 3

Oh wow Lashley killed Drew in the corner with a counter to Drew running at him
Drew THROWS Bobby into the corner to counter the spear
MVP tries to distract again, Drew hits spinebuster for 2
Bobby hits funsplash, looks for HL, can’t get it, hits suplex, but eats Claymore, RIGHT THEN BRAUN’S music hits, he attacks from behind, DQ, hits running powerslam
***
After the match, he shakes Lashley’s hand, tricks him into hitting him with a powerslam, then again on Drew, he comes outside, MVP tries to hit him with the cane, instead, Braun picks up Lashley and runs him through the barricade, then goes back in and hits Drew with another
