Edge interview: first match on SD in a decade?
Feels like home here. I retired here. It feels surreal, but right. I forgive the knee from last week. Cuz I woulda done the same. Jey won’t be as big as he could be while in Roman’s shadow. He’s gonna run into trouble if he keeps it up. Tonight I’mtrouble.
Seth ROllins promo:
REcaps his return to Smackdown, runs down Cesaro as being disrespectful.
They show footage of last week, back to Seth, he threatens Cesaro, says you are the biggest waste of potential in WWE. Shinsuke comes out. Seth starts jawing, Shin takes his mic and says shut up, Seth attacks, Nakamura lays him out, sends him running.Nakamura does the COME ONNNN and Seth comes back in, but eats a Kinshasa
Street Profits vs. Dom & Rey Mysterio
Haha Dom wins via surprise rollup
The profits quantum leap out for some reason, as Alpha Academy comes down and talks about Otis squashing Rey like a panakako, then Gable jaws at the Profits, acknowledging their existence, the Mysterios send AA from the ring and then Dom flies onto Otis

Dom and Rey vs. AA
This is a really good showing for Dom, while Otis wrecks Rey

Sami and his doc crew backstage
Owens comes over, he’s still not sure about being in Sami’s doc. OWens says have you ever considered, that you’re twisting reality so it fits your narrative? I’ve never once heard you say that something is your fault if something bad happens. THEY’VE GOT TO YOU TOO! Who’s THEY? Come out for my match with COrbin tonight, so you can see for yourself. If you don’t see anything, I’ll drop it all.
Daniel Bryan
He sells tonight’s main event, Edge’s first SD match in 10 years. Then he sells the fastlane match. Edge is the ultimate opportunist, he wants that one on one with Roman, he doesn’t want me. Edge thinks he can beat ROman, I KNOW I can beat him. I did the one thing he couldn’t do, tap jey uso out.
Roman comes out.
I can deal with these little white lies about yourself, but you can’t tap me out. Paul, he has a better chance of shooting lightening out of his ass than tapping me out, of growing wings and flying out of here. I’d rather lose an arm than tap out. I’d rather die in that ring than tap out.
Bryan: THat’s strong. You talk about lies, all the stuff you say about yourself, they’re all lies, delusions. Everybody thinks they’re invincible until theyre not. Everyone thinks they’re UNTAPOUTABLE, until they tap out. I’m gonna break you. Of your beliefs, of your delusions, but I hope you don’t die, but if you tap out, or if yiou don’t tap out I am beating you for the universal title at fastlane.
Weird promo advertising the match no one asked for
Sai Zayn vs. Baron Corbin
Sami keeps trying to cheat, he had his legs on the rope for a pin, got called on it, he tried to take the pad off the turnbuckle, walked into an End of Days
KO was on commentary, Sami is beside himself when KO doesn’t agree that the ref was crooked on this
HAHAHHA Sami KILLS KO with an Helluva Kick
Apollo Crews/Big E Split Screen
Can you ever settle your distances?
Big E: It’s over, you wanna talk to me about reconciliation? We are the world? All I wanna takk about is vengeance. YOu have two days til fastlane. And if I’m you. I’d take those two days and I’d appreciate the Crispness of the march air. Of using your limbs. I’m gonna retain my IC title, no question, and you are gonna get everything you deserve.
Apollo: What I deserve. If I were you I would think twice about talking to NIgerian royalty with such disrespect. This reminds me of an old nigerian proverb. YOu will see the nigerian warrior in me. I will finally have what I deserve. All my ancestors will watch as I stand over your mangled body.
Big E: There’s no waiting for Sunday. He takes his shit off. Big E goes looking for Apollo, he gets in the golf cart, he finds him backstage, they fight. BIg E destroys APollo, stands tall, bad move Big. Apollo gets in the golf and drives away.
Bianca Belair vs. Shayna Baszler
Nia leaves mid-match, then Natalya & Tamina attack, DQ finish- they take out Shayna and lay out BIanca in the ring
Edge vs. Jey Uso
Jey works Edges ribbies, so edge is in dire need of FPOS rib tape the whole time
Edge hits a Rana off the top, a Edgecution
