I’ve listened to over half the episode and so far I’m loving it. Chris Sims is awesome and I love his contributions to Retronauts. At first I was surprised by his hot take, but it makes total sense. Ducktales is one of my favorite NES games along with Crystalis. I played it to death and got really good at it to the point of getting enough treasure to get the best ending. I used to think that my love for the game was because of my childhood nostalgia, but hearing lots of retrospectives on how well the game holds up has made me realize its craftsmanship. Now I kinda want to skip work and play Disney Afternoon collection.
