The new hounds awaken, cognizant of an inevitable fire burning through what used to be their existence. It had consumed their awareness until nothing remained but sensation and the absolute NEED to breed. Now, outside of his direct presence, they are free. Free to feel more alive and aware then EVER before. And the desire, it pulses through their veins with every beat. Stronger and more pressing with each compounding wave of new emotions pounding on the shores of their will. Alone they might've bravely rallied against this obvious magical attack on their minds. But they feel not only their own newfound enticements but the throbbing desires of their trusted squad-mates. It can be... a bit much.
Gotta admit - this shouldn't have taken me this long. Each post comes in at the last minute and I find my mind easily wandering at any distraction. This malaise is definitely due to burnout.
I'm going to be proactive about it. I'm going to switch it up. Discord had a great idea about creating a height chart and character sheet for the current. Just like the one's I did Insight's squad, I'll be doing one for the Custodians as well. Next comic will be this upcoming Monday. I'll work on the AS comics and Character sheets on Wednesday and Friday.

Thank you. I am "back on track", but I can feel the impact up until today. That's why I try to warn people. You don't want this. And the illusion of invulnerability is very often more pronounced in us than we realise. I guess it's a part that you develop to survive in the modern world, which at first brings great results and achievements, but in reality bites you in the bum. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you so much that I'm giving an unnecessary warning here. Be smarter than me ^^.

That sucks you went through so much stress and thank you for sharing. The 2 steps closer in being burnt-out sounds true as well. I'll keep that in mind and try to take it easy.

Please, take care in time of such things. I got through this too, but wasn't that bright to see the signs, until I suddenly dropped in my kitchen and sobbed uncontrollable, while asking myself, what is going on and didn't even felt sad... From my personal experience: always assume, that you are two steps closer to burnout, then you actually feel it, or, better, tell yourself...
