Lore Entry: Dryads

In Warden-verse, Dryads were originally a variety of predator of humanity and often had a antagonistic relationship. Now, many types of Dryads are completely domesticated or so they'd like you to think. Dryads are valued in society for feeding on humanity in a renewable way. Sure they'd gain more energy on an individual basis if they completely harvested their food but if they only took just enough for a sip, their food source lines up on their doorsteps and pay them for their nibbles.

Theoretically it can reach between worlds. But the vast distance is a barrier of a kind. And at that signal strength there are dangerous monsters that can also access the dream networks.
