The description of Fishcakes slitting that guy's throat just so he couldn't scream was perfect. Just in general, I love the care Erika gives to their characters' complex backgrounds. Having been the traumatized eldest child in a survival situation, I can vouch that you do embrace a kind of effortless brutality after realizing that it allows you to (finally) protect the other children in your orbit. And kid brains also just don't have a lot of room for nuance, so they will tend to go for the jugular (literal or otherwise). 10/10 character choice, and I'm excited to see what happens next.

So here’s the thing: my rational and logical self wants these beloved creators to have all the time and space in the world to create these incredible, enchanting stories. I am just one billion percent on board for ANYTHING these people make together. And the release schedule is in fact a good and predictable schedule, that any reasonable person would look at and say, “yes, this is good.” So, why do I, immediately upon finishing an episode, queue it up to restart immediately, and then I commence to tearing my hair out that there isn’t MORE, RIGHT NOW???? Give me more of your beautiful stories! Feed them DIRECTLY INTO MY BRAIN! How dare you create such delightful, meaningful, thoughtful content, honestly? I’m sorry I’m like this, at least some of it’s the adhd but the rest of it is just me
