@MC has Ame or Erika confirmed such an identity? Or are we just vaguely interpreting? I understand it's a long form story but so far we have had Canon straight romances left and right and 1! Single mention of the wizard Slate having an offscreen wife. If we have time for Soft and Stone, Suvi and Silver, Steel and Sonder, Gamore and the Wolf King, hell even the couple Ame is helping in her opening scene before suvi arrives? If we have time for 5 different straight couples We have time for a single explicitly gay relationship. Full stop. @cody Right. But in the fireside chat Lou (or his guest star if you follow the bit) clarified that it was purely friendship based.

Ame is queer, Aabria plays Suvi as vaguely bi (but that might just be character bleed it’s a bit unclear), and (aside from a joke in the first episode) it seems entirely unclear if Ursalon experiences attraction in a way we. We’ve met very few couples, most characters haven’t gotten enough airtime to know much about potential partners or identities. This is a longform story, concluding the first of many chapters, it’s too early to judge the way it plans to handle any questions of theme or rep.

So close, yet so far away Being somewhat late to the party, these last few weeks of waiting for episode 40 have been the first time I have been caught up to all the amazing episodes that have been published (with also realising I NEED to listen to the fireside also, which gave me 2 seasons worth of content and the children's adventures to listen to before starting on season/arc 3). The waiting will most definitely be worth it, and have plans to re-listen to everything once the final episode is released ❤️ Might be late to the party, but I will be dawned if I leave it now that I am finally here😆❤️

Huh, I kind of assumed Ame was queer and Ursalon was some form of ace, or at least just not feeling any particular sexuality in the mortal realm. I know Suvi and Ame were very speculative about Ursalon and the he-wolf at the coven meeting hooking up while they were drinking.

I am extraordinarily grateful for you all, and I hope that comes across in the sweat and the love we pour into the show. We also pour in some other stuff but I'm not gonna type it all out. This is gonna sound like schmaltzy bullshit but I swear on a stack of holy texts (*especially* Dianetics) that it's true: whether it's the cast and I recording the show, or Jared and I sweating it out in post production, every thing we do, every word, every decision, every note, every tiny gritty footstep_gravel_foley.wav, is done with the laser-focused intent of showing you a really good time. That it has worked, even just a little, and that I get to watch you enjoy it, is the greatest Christmas present I could ever receive (except for *a lot* of money, let's be reasonable). And your support of the show, here by the fireside, has changed multiple people's lives. Earlier this year, a very close loved one of mine was diagnosed with a very serious chronic disease, and just this month we lost our health insurance. Without your support of the show, I would have had to leave WBN, quit composing, and find another ...well I don't even want to finish that sentence, it's so bleak to me. Instead, because of your patronage, it's not the disaster it could have been. In fact we're probably gonna be okay (you know, chronic illness notwithstanding), the show goes wonderfully, fantastically on, and I can keep making the music at least 4db too loud (Jk, it's always perfect). Thank you, for loving the show along with us, and for making our creative dreams possible. It seems weird to tell someone to be proud of spending $5 on a patreon, but who's gonna fucking stop me.
