Haha I think there's a big difference between a grand gesture to try to CONVINCE someone to get back with you or stay with you -- vs. a grand gesture to demonstrate your affection and special care for someone with whom you have a relatively stable relationship. I think the latter is great, but the former... probably not going to end super well. I still love that we got these totally opposite reactions from the crew though 😂

Honestly my first response to hearing about the 20-something Daily Show guy was “what mature man was giving this advice in his TWENTIES?” But you know what, I’m with Erika and Abriya. 😂 Don’t stop a young man positively expressing feelings.
