Aw man, I wish Erika could have been here to talk about Nif's moment
Cait Batchelor
As a 75% Irish/Scottish person who’s caked up to a remarkable degree I take serious offense
BingusBongos
So an American moose is actually the same animal as the European Elk. They're just named differently ☝️
Tristan
I realize that Brennan was probably drawing a line between giving up the pauldron and his death in the next battle. And it is beatuiful. But from a practical, pedantic perspective I can't help but wonder if the arrow went through Curran's gorget, or if he wasn't wearing one.
Eric Davies
Hearing that the elk is a moose is messing with my imagination! I do kind of wish he just called it a moose because elk is so strongly associated with the North American elk in my mind.
The Pompous Peasant
Nig getting the Elk was so delicious. I LOVE HER.

I disagree about soda bread as an Irish person. I'm wondering if they made white soda bread which sucks.
Erin Simonitch
I’m obsessed with Nif and her future title! Witch of the Watchful Ward?
George Lister
Pitching a witch title for Nif. The Witch of the Worrisome Watch
Dean Rick Sassafrassley Winchester
Wait like the book is over or all of www
Ian Mcilwean
You guys talking about one being over so much is starting to make me nervous.
The Pompous Peasant
Can someone tell me where and how Ame got Task from Suvi? I can't listen to the ep until I know. I MUST know! Please helps 😣
Stephan Krosecz
The name that immediately popped into my head when Nief said her thing was "The Witch of Wayward Waifs" haha
Andrew Tucker
I listened to every episode up to episode 50 and then I went back and I binged the children’s adventure and all 50 fireside chats. (I can listen to podcasts while I’m at work) I’m just now finding out you’re planning on ending WWW!??!! NOOOOOOOOO. Anyway, love the pod, love you guys. I need more of this campaign. If you end it, please bring it back at some point.

Nif the Witch of Wait, What do you mean?
Bonnie Calderwood Aspinwall
I need to know if it was a deliberate choice (I'm assuming so) for both Steel and Eioghorain to describe themselves as monsters when talking to Suvi about the personal cost of war because I haven't heard it mentioned and I've been going feral thinking about itttttt
Ted Orbach
Corned beef and cabbage is in fact Jewish, IIRC Irish immigrants in New York got it by accident and fell in love
Ariel
Niff, The Witch of Worry and Ware
Sylvan Blueberry
I'm wondering if anyone knows what episode of the fireside everyone discusses their familiarity in
Benjamin Jones
Took me a little over a month, but I finally caught up on the fireside! What an awesome show, and what great bone cone! You guys are the best. I can listen as long as you can produce.
Dukinator

FIRESIDE EP 34 THIS WAS MENTIONED, HOW DID I MISS IT?! Brennan was even like idk Son of a Bear with a Golden Pauldron that only fits 2 PEOPLE!! And that dead were walking openly in Ruiv? Ruv? WHICH is under control of the man and black!
ScoutHooligan
Going back and listening and i just wanted to say thank you. As a Transman in the US, the narrative with Nìf and Eursulon and the Greneaux, is especially potent right now. "That it wasn't about what we did, but about *who we were*." Brought me to tears as we are all rushing to be able to flee, and/or fighting in the streets for our right to exist. Thank you for giving us a story that inspires courage and strength in our lives while also giving us that sweet escapism in TTRPG and story. You are all incredible and we appreciate you all so much. So much love to you.
Cody Zimmer
Okay, now it makes me sad that the crew doesn't know the secret to good Irish soda bread. A copious helping if butter! Also, it's just rleasy to make a pretty meh bread, but it is really good when done well.

The Forest of Fire is the Near Spirit surrounding the Citadel. The Citadel is, spiritually speaking, surrounded by the eternally burning jungle of The Clearing, isn’t it? Maybe I forgot, but I don’t think that had fully clicked for me before. Oof.
Noah Sam
I'm in the same boat with the preemptive grieving ❣️. They've definitely talked about revisiting this story – this is only Book 1 after all. When that will be, we don't yet know but I think it can actually be nice to give the story (and the wonderful players and creators) some space to breathe with something less gargantuan in scale. This Umora story will always hold a special place in my heart and I'm also really looking forward to this next campaign hosted by Erika 💜.
Amanda Schwaninger
Okay I have been sleeping on the comments. Loving that 50% are episode related and 50% “but soda bread?!?!?” On another note, I am preemptively grieving the end of this book! Is there info somewhere on plans to revisit our lil Umora friends? Future arcs or stories? Or are we all waiting to see where our intrepid hosts take us? How many times CAN I relisten to WWW? (The limit does not exist)
Neil Alton
What you fail to see Brennan is the direct correlation between the creation of the greatest works of Irish literature through history and the consumption of soda bread! “Poetry is what we do to break bread with the dead" Seamus Heaney
Sean Britcher
"Have you had Sarazmir Chocolate?"
The Wizard Sonder
When I heard the description of Sarazmir (sp?) I immediately thought of Dubai Brennan clocked it so well
Casey Furtado
Dear Taylor and Brennan - I beg of thee to record the famous, “Alright, alright, alright” but with the timbre and shuttering of the MiB. After the comparison of lines spoken by the MiB and True Detective S1 McConaughey, I simply wish it to exist in *this*, our real world. - Ahoo hoo and crackle crackle with love, Me 😌💌
Alyssa
As someone that hasn’t seen Sinners yet, Aabria’s “again, this goes back to my original opinion that like this is why there’s so much crossover in the Irish and Black communities. We’re here to serve cake, we’re here to rebrand the bloodline and add cake where cake did not exist before […] I’m seeing a lot of soda bread, let’s get some red velvet in the 🪩club🪩 It’s chocolate flavored, but it is 💋red💋” is like basically the plot of Sinners, right?
Joseph O'Toole
all the conversation about nif and the elk gave me an idea... familiars suddenly gain the ability to speak. Deaf witch and animal with hands (racoon?) who suddenly gains the ability to sign? is this anything? 🥺
