I'm sure yall have heard by now but for those just finding this question, they talk about this in the childs adventures fireside chat.

I love this art! 😀 really fantastic work!

Heidi

I think there must be a bit more to it than that, right? Because like Aabria says Suvi has a 12 in DEX right now and she has a 4 to fall back on, but they roll 2d6 during the game? So they must have rolled at least 3d6 to get to 12 and have a fallback number, right?

Wverms

2d6 for the character stats, then you’ll hear them roll an additional 2d6 drop the highest to reach their adult stats. Proficiencies were gained through play.

Piras

would love to know as well, i think they will be taking questions at the next fireside thing, you should ask that then

I ask as someone who has kicked around the idea of playing through a party’s origin for a while!

How did you adjust stats for the rolls for the kids? Obviously they didn’t have adult stats.

Excited!

Queerly Victorian

I JUST noticed the pauldron on Eursulon's shoulder!

I love them all!!

Evan

Gods, I keep coming back to stare at this. I love the enthusiasm in Ame's eyes as she chases after the rooster, the mild concern in Suvi's, and the chilled out amusement and fun in Eursulon's.

Dani Hughes

Omg! I absolutely love this! Would definitely buy a print of this if it was ever made into one!

Monica

So cute 😍

SarahBearBaby

miyazaki realness. i’m going to cry just from this. it’s too cute.

So cute! 😍

Agiddysea

It's such a good idea! Literally showing us how these three characters are connected and insights into them as adults. Chef's kiss

VirusVisal

I love the Ghibli vibes, appropiate for a story that surely will destroy us emotionally

Kar_bear17

Worlds Beyond Number

Welcome into the light ;)

So, in the end, I'm also saying that it was powerful. There's a huge amount of energy in this patreon podcast product. I would buy stock in this. I did. $5. Well worth it. I paid without knowing what I'd get, and now that I've tasted it, I think it was a steal. These stories will be delicious candy of the mind. A voyeuristic journey into stories shared with friends. I'm fully invested to pay for years of this.

Schwa

And ofc bravo to the creators. Each of you are such powerful storytellers, character builders, and voices of folk from fantastic perspectives. I appreciate being invited into the art of the mind from people who USE THEIR IMAGINATIONS to create WORLDS BEYOND NUMBER. It really does feel like a game with friends around a table, and we're just a fly. Also, there's a mixer in the background putting down mad sound, editing out bloops and blips, editing in growls, background noise, a child muffled in coat with war going on and arguing. I was fucking there.

Schwa

Props to the editor, who edits so many pauses/ums/sniffs yet left in those special ones that pricked my eyes with tears.

Merissa McClure

I just started Rude Tales this week (I would kill or die for Stir Fry)

I just really really love how much these people love each other's company

Schruka

Sooooo beautiful! I can't wait to meet Grandmother Ren!

Oz

I feel like that's a pretty solid representation of Erika as a child, too lol

After listening to the Suvi preview the phrase "lil boogers" has become fully weaponized and I will not forgive whoever wrote that (even if it's coincidence)

Oh wow, that's adorable! So excited.
