I'm also done with the animation for that new vid, but I'm currently fighting with the backgrounds haha, I'm kinda experimenting to see what works so we'll see how it goes. Honestly no Idea if it'll even look good or if I'll have to find a new solution, but we'll see!
I've had a bit of a mental health spiral this week because of some tragic events in Croatia and Woof's (my dog's) health (which is actually like abnormally great for a dog of his size/age, but my brain is just gonna brain how it wants to brain and OCD fucking sucks), so I've been radio silent in my DMs, but I really hope all of you have been doing really well <3 I hope everyone who celebrates is having a beautiful prep week for Christmas and New Years and, if you're not celebrating, then I hope you're treating yourself super well, watching some comfort shows and enjoying yourself in any other wayy :D <3

AHAHA LMAO YES 😭😭😭 i have tried using textures before but I always feel they don't look as put together on my art, idk how people do it so I suffer manually 🤣🤣 that other shirt he has, the red right one, used to be like a red plaid shirt, and in my head it still is, I just seriously have to find a way to draw it better cause manually drawing all the plaid details was ROUGH when I draw this fella like every day lmao And you're totally right!! ❤️ I used 3D in my short films before, but never in the Grimport stuff, and I really wanna find a proper 3D style that suits it, but it definitely will take a bit of time to find the right look ❤️ Man and I'm so incredibly sorry you had to experience the pet anxiety too, it's seriously the worst ☹️ i heard someone say pets will give you a small million of good days and one really, really bad one, and I've dreaded that bad one for nearly half of my life now 💔 but all we can do is live in a moment, and Woofy is healthy and perfectly fine rn so I really need to get a grip haha Thank you sooo much for your support and making this year so special for me, you've truly been an irreplacable part of this journey ❤️

Hold up- did you draw the pattern on his robe by hand?!?!! I admire your dedication sm, you have no idea HAHAAHA 😭🙏 I thought it was like, an overlay or a stamp brush or something 😭 It’s great that you’re experimenting and trying to include a 3d aspect in one of your animations to begin with, even if it doesn’t turn out and you gotta go a different route in the end. At least you can say you tried, because trying is the most important thing!! ♡ We can never grow or improve if we don’t challenge ourselves. Aahhh, I’m so sorry about the troubles you’re facing so close to the holidays thoo 💔💔 But like you said, brains are gonna brain. All you can do is give yourself compassion and hang onto the will to keep working towards a better tomorrow, and believe that there will be better times ahead 🫂 I know how terribly anxiety inducing it is for pets to have health issues. I’ve been there myself so I completely understand- it’s such a very hard thing to see them suffering. I’m hoping for the best possible outcome for Woof though!! I’ll keep him in my thoughts and prayers! And I hope you can still have an enjoyable holiday season, and one that brings you peace despite it all ❤️
