I think Prison Architect would be a good game for Matt. It’s a fun and engaging game where you run and manage a prison, making decisions about layout, security, and prisoners. Don’t get put off by the “Architect” part of the name — you’re not doing real architecture, and honestly it’s nothing like what actual architects do anyway. It’s more about strategy, problem-solving, and keeping everything from going completely wrong, which makes it entertaining and challenging in a good way.

Not watched a playthough of EU5 yet, but everything I saw from the dev diaries made it look more complicated than EU4, which I have 2k hours in. Matt does not have the time to learn a game like that and probably would lack interest on the channel anayways. Crusader Kings might be a better fit because of the character elements and the crazy stuff you can do, but it is way complicated.
