Ah that would make sense I think! It's not an important detail I was just curious! But that definitely seems to make the timeline work!

So I take the Waverly “cross over” line as Julian was wandering around lost outside of the Ghost River Triangle until Waverly crossed the town line in the season 2 finale with Alice to check if either or both of them were revenants. When she left the GRT Julian then could sense her and he came to Purgatory but with no memories except that he wants to help people.
