Quick disclaimer/life update!

This is no longer a label I claim. Hopefully y’all like me for me and not for that alone, but if I’m being honest I have been a little nervous to tell you all this lol. However, my husband will be making an occasional guest appearance for some upcoming reactions so it’s time you know. I go into a little bit more detail here if you are interested 👇

but the basic gist is..
I was deeply depressed and started pushing my husband away - completely numb to any love or attraction between us. I then learned about CompHet and became convinced I was a lesbian. My husband and I were “separated” for nearly three years while I believed this. We lived as roommates and friends and just focused on being good parents. When I started to work my way out of my depression I started feeling love and attraction for my husband again and realized I was not a lesbian - I was just unwell and self-sabotaging by pushing him away. (I am NOT saying all lesbians are just unwell. That should be obvious but I’ll say it anyway.)
This is obviously good news for me and my life and my family, but I would never want those of you who started following/supporting me because I was a lesbian to feel tricked or lied to. While my love for women was NEVER A LIE OR AN ACT, it turns out I do still love my husband and want to be with him.. So.. that pretty squarely knocks me out of the “lesbian” category. I’m sorry for claiming a label that doesn’t belong to me, I hope you can understand that it was not intentional. And as I said, I hope y’all like me for me and that you’ll stick around. Love you all. Oh, and my reaction to HEREDITARY will be up later today! 😬

And ya, I'm sure this post seems pretty unnecessary for anyone who didn't start following me in my Killing Eve and early Orphan Black days lol! I didn't know anything about your love life, nor did I care. I instantly liked the way you reacted and presented yourself in this video. I must say, I admire your openness about such a sensible matter and that you care so much about your patrons, that you don't hesitate to clarify your intentions. I hope you understand what I am trying to say, as english isn't my first language. To make a long comment short: I like your channel so far and what you do in your private life is nobodys business but your own and that of the people you love and that love you. Hi Kelsea. I discovered your channel because of Orphan Black and Killing Eve, but I stayed because I found a beautiful human who abounds in energy, insightfulness, truthfulness and dedication. During our journey together I detected the hurt and insecurity through the tears and comments. It was obvious you were torn, and hurting, and it presented equally obvious you struggled with identity. But strong people, like Sareh and her flawed sisters, seek the help of friends and family, and in the end, strength of character wins. You have won. I hope you consider us as family, and we will support you, and cheer your victories. You can't get rid of us, so let's move on. Life is a journey, and we have all experienced the rollercoaster ride.
