Oh the line "People will say we're in love" is from the musical Oklahoma! Between the two lead characters who pass things to each other and maybe take mementos.

I think this movie is set too far back in time. 44 years ago a 10 year old girl treks on foot before dawn in the cold and gets a few miles before being caught. Her name is Starling like the bird. 12 years later she's a trainee for the FBI. The film was set in 1990 which is pretty far back, not sure how to relate. What was on television at the time, let's see - Cheers, Roseanne and Murphy Brown. Oh it's okay to hate a movie, the rant was kinda funny.

A non-sapphic film I really love is “THE LOBSTER 🦞” with Colin Farrell and Rachel Weisz (Disobedience). “THE LOBSTER,” is a dark comedy from Greek director Yorgos Lanthimos, making his English-language debut, presents a dystopian world where being single is a criminal act. A romantic breakup thrusts the "single" into the outer darkness of society. (Like all good satire, "The Lobster" is close enough to reality to disturb the waters.) A single person has 45 days after a breakup to find a new partner, and if the new partner does not materialize, the single person will be turned into an animal. The message is clear: Couples deserve official protection, and the privilege of being left alone by the unnamed State. Single people are accosted in public spaces with demands for appropriate papers. "The Lobster" plays rigorously by its own rules without once telegraphing "Just kidding!" While extremely funny, it is a bitter and ruthless film. Lanthimos plays target practice and his aim is deadly.
