I'll admit that I didn't love the sorceresses winning that poll. "Art of those characters could show all kinds of cool magic effects," I thought, "but as costumes, they're just dresses. Why?" I'm happy to say that this sketch is making me eat those words - this is a very fun piece. I especially love the cheeks. It looks like a lot of care went into thinking about how the ladies' faces look in different expressions - even without hair or freckles, you could definitely tell that it's them!
