personally, I think both worked for their time. If you watch angelina jolie movies nowadays, is probably going to be a meme fest. Because they are a little silly. But they are also from a time that this type of movie (also super heroes movies in general), the industry simply didn't know how to work with. Alicia movie had a LOT of potential, but I think it dropped the ball around half way through the movie (you know, when a character that was said to be dead ... wasn't. Which invalidates most of things that happened before that). I was super hyped until "that" part.

Oh damn, this WIP is looking incredibly sexy. I really like your idea to combine the two versions of Lara, the classic style outfit looks great on your version of her. I like the angle and pose here, as we slightly look up at her and she gazes down towards us. I always love when a lady leans her head to the side and I also enjoy how you've done it here, leaning her head to reach up and run her hand through her hair. I especially enjoy the interaction this causes, sqeezing and tensing her bicep and letting us see the raised shoulder and all the overlaps and interlocking between the arm, shoulder and chest. The asymmetry in both arms is nice too with the flowing of her braid and the various splitting strands of hair adding to her dynamism. The details of the outfit look great too and I won't lie, I do like seeing her breasts pushed up between her vest, already the rendering of the cleavage looks very nice. The view of her toned stomach is especially lovely and I'll definitely look forward to seeing that fully rendered, same with her thighs which also have some nice tone added to them already. The face looks terrific too, particularly with the contrast in light and dark tones and I like her expression too with her parted lips. Beautiful work so far!
