Yeah, I can understand the original design since it's easier to draw in a comic, but I think it's more fitting to have an outfit that makes sense to the barbarian theme. Very revealing, but something you could see a warrior using, instead of a model lol

Me and my wife are big fans of the movie, and catch some of the comics to great enjoyment. She was always bummed the comics were written well but featured Sonya in pure mail bikini rather than the leather patchwork armor of the movie. I always thought the best of both worlds would look something like this, a sort of raw patched together barbarian look that seems brutal and primal and very "metal". I'm super excited to see this one in its full glory!

I have to confess, I was rooting for this one in the polls. I wanted to see your take on the character, and by Crom and Mitra you are doing her justice! Really looking forward to the completed work!

Oh my word, I absolutely love everything about this! 😻😻😻😻😻 The pose and her whole demeanour just look so cool with her aggressive expression looking right at the viewer, the way she has her large sword resting against her shoulders, while still looking sexy with her hips to one side. I really like how her left hand hovers just above the sword, like she's balancing it against her fore-arm but of course not touching the sharp blade. The hairstyle is just so sexy looking, I love the asymmetry, pulled back on one side, falling forward on the other with strands draped across the eye, I've always found that look so appealing. I adore the outfit that you've given her too, her shoulder pauldron is probably my favourite part, with the curved countours and curling lip at the bottom of each section which look great as they overlap. I really like the various straps across her limbs, as well as the ragged cloak falling down behind her, as well as the rough sash between her thighs. Of course the cleavage pushed up between her bra, with the hair trailing down towards her breasts are wonderfully sensual and I love the initial lighting on her midsection, while her toned thighs are already looking glorious! 😻😻😻😻😻 Absolutely fantastic work on this so far! I feel like the finished piece may very well end up as one of my very favourite paintings of yours given just how beautiful, badass and sexy this already is. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Oh hell yeah. My favourite redheaded barbarian looks incredible. Those thick thighs certainly save lives! It's a shame no one has thought about making an animated Red Sonja show. I think they've been trying to get a modern Red Sonja movie going for the past decade or so, but after watching Invincible, Red Sonja should definitely get the animated treatment with the same art as Netflix' Castlevania.
