Kida - Preview

Hey everyone, I took a small break from Iris and Maya image (it's still coming after this one, don't worry), because while I was doing the prep work of Kida, I had an idea that I just wanted to do first.
Usually that doesn't happen and I work on one image at a time, but every now and then I have the idea and focus for a different image than the one I'm currently working at. And what I learned from that, is that it's better to simply "pause" the first image and work on the new one than work on one image while thinking on another.
TL:DR after I make kida, I'll get back to Iris and Maya with proper focus.
Anyway, I love how "disney princess" have designs that are super easy to make sexy. A simple scene of getting inside of the water and she does it in such a smooth way, that I had to make my version of that scene. Plus, the contrast of darker skin and white hair always works =D

Well, a lot of people did like them. Most of the characters featured on the polls were highly requested by others. And given the past polls had the highest engaging from patrons and very close voting numbers on the choices can confirm that. At the end of the day, I try to do what is best to make sure the final images have the best quality possible. Even if that means swapping the order of the images. Besides, it's hardly the end of the world, because it's not like I won't finish that image. I'll simply finish it a few days later. =)

yeah, I think it's important to properly direct the focus when things like that happens.

If you feel inspiration strike hard on a project or idea, ride that wave until it fades out. That kind of energy and motivation can be really rare sometimes, so don't feel bad about capitalizing on it! Great stuff as always, as well.

Atlantis is a great movie and I was always sorry to never see it taking off. Can't wait to see your take on Kida.
