Had a lot of fun making this one, to make sure she had the same idea and visual of Eivor in the game.
I have to say the character really grew on me. It's really fun to see her brutish yet valkyr like beauty kick ass in the game.

Also, rewards are coming tomorrow by the end of the day (need to finish setting up the files, video and stuff).

Thank you! I have to say, of backgrounds, wood is definitely my favourite texture to make. It can has a lot of detail and texture to it, while still being relatively fast to do. The chair/ throne actually took an hour or two to make because it has a lot of dents and cracks and little details, but usually, it's really cool to make. It's a shame in the sfw version it doesn't show her torso, because it's definitely my favourite part of the image. I really like how her body is really toned but still a woman's body. The "norse warriors" kit is definitely an unique and beautifull look for woman. It's one thing I really enjoyed about that TV show "Vikings" (even thought I didn't like the last seasons very much, the female characters are all breathtaking!). So yeah, I'm really happy with the result on this one =D

Yeah, those type of gear I often have to make an "economic version" with fewer pieces, otherwise it's extremelly time consuming to make. And actually less "sexy and casual", which is the idea behind the pin-ups.

She looks fantastic. Even better without her in her raven-clan armour. It's the only armour set I've used in the game and the final upgraded version of it is so big and detailed I imagine it would've been a fuss to draw. I hope we get to see Eivor and Randvi at some point in the new year!

What had me particularly excited for this painting would be the sheer amount of texture that would be present. And sure enough, I've gotten what I wanted and tonnes of it! πΈ The wooden wall and throne both look fantastic with the multiple coloured planks, the way they're affected by the lighting, with the various chipping in the wood and little gaps where planks meet and join up. I really like the overall warm colour tones with the white and grey furs on the chair and boots as well as the steel axe and her pale eyes being great contrasts. The fur itself looks lovely, it's very well detailed and actually looks comfortably soft πΈ Eivor herself is just terrific too, I really like the crinkled, rough materials of her clothes with the stitch seams running through them, as well as the layers of leather that make up her boots. The hair is wonderfully detailed as always and the skin tones and anatomy that we can see are great too. I just adore the warm textures and colours of her muscle definition, the biceps and shoulders are just incredible and look so full and tight π». The face is beautifully done too with the eyes and the dark tones around them really standing out. I like the shines on her nose, cheek and lips too with the shadows doing a fantastic job defining her cheeks and jaw. Just amazing work on this piece! The warm colours are particularly welcome now in winter and I'm just on love with all of the texture. ππππππππππππππππππππππππ
