Thank you! It's funny because I wasn't particularly happy with the image until close to the end of it. I had the idea in mind, I knew the theory would work, but there was a small mistake preventing it. Basically she was too "lit". When I changed the lightning to something more to her sides/back, it changed the image completely. The mood of the image worked, the ambient light clicked, everything went into place lol. While I usually know what I want with the image, for this one I have to admit I almost missed the mark lol. So I'm really glad it all worked out in the end =D

Thanks! It really sucks. It was a bit of wake up call for me. While I didn't exagerate or had any issues with my diet, it's good to pay a little more close attention to my health =)

Ooof, I hope that you're feeling better now! 😸 As for this painting, oh it's gorgeous! I really like the colours with the sky being this blend of orange and green with only small silhouettes of the city cutting up into it. The lake too looks really nice with calm ripples on the surface, that same colour of the sky and the buildings reflected in it too. Your Judy looks wonderful too, I really like her demeanour and pose, casually leaning back against the railing and looking towards the viewer. The way she's leaning her head with her shoulders bunched up is very cute and I like how the angle of her head means we see her hair sweep up and over to fall back down the other side. The actual rendering is as amazing as ever, with the hair being so intricately painted and I really like that subtle shining line of light running through the green, the transition from green to purple also looks really nice. I love her clothes too, the shape of the bra is very cool with the thin horizontal line running through it defining the shapes even more. The texture of the bra cups looks great too and the soft white light in the centre blends out really well into the darker tones, with the edge-lighting on her right breast accentuating the shape even more. The shorts are just great as well with the crinkling detail running through that upper purple trim, as well as all the folds in the blue. The detail with those U shaped folds just underneath the purple trim look really nice and give the shorts a loose feeling. The overall lighting is striking too with the large areas of shadows on her right-hand planes, with the opposing lighting giving this large, rippling lighting across her hips and pelvis. Speaking of the lighting, it just looks so beautiful across all of her! The contrast between her warm, tanned skin and the cool shadows with these blue tints throughout it all define her forms perfectly. I actually really like her arms, with her right arm having that blue tint running through it, while the other has the more striking lighting. On both arms, I love the elbow area and the curving, twisting anatomy that connects the upper and lower halves. The hands are really nicely done too with a painterly texture and cool tones within the shadows. The thighs are amazing as well with bright, warm areas of light within the overall shadows. But my favourite part of her body has to be her stomach, the blending of tones is so smooth and the contrasting lighting is perfect! The dark shadows on one side, tinted blue, with warm lighting on the other, with reversed lighting in the centre to define the dip around the belly-button, all so smoothly blended together is simply stunning! And of course the face benefits very well from this lighting scheme. The contrasting warm and bright light with the cool, dark shadows is terrific and I like the thin edge-light along her cheek, making her face pop out from her hair. That same edge-light makes her nose and lips pop too and I do really like the overall shapes and rendering of the nose as well. Fantastic work on this piece! Even more impressive that you made me forget that I don't even like this character at all 😹 But seriously though, beautiful lighting, colours and atmosphere with absolutely brilliant lighting, the way the shadows wrap around the warm skin tones to define her is just mesmerising. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Oh hell! That is my worst nightmare honestly! I've had the same tiny kidney stone emergencies 3 times and I'm only 24. I'm not overweight but somehow I fail to maintain the healthy diet just enough to have those. I know the pain...glad everything worked out.
