The quality is amazing, though I think a splash of dirt or mud or moss or whatever could bring more of the jungle feeling to life. Thanks! I was really inspired by the classic way of painting those images and mixing of colors. I think it was more interestings to have those brush strokes of colors, going from the water to the "muddy" foliage and then the actual background instead of having everything clear cut and divided. I think it adds to the imersion of the scene. And it was a body type that I thought it was fitting the character. That slim/fit build that is very athletic =)

oh there were definitely a few throwbacks to that image. I wasn't 100% happy with the background of that image, so it was definitely something I wanted to get it better this time around. As much as I prefer to paint bodies in greyscale and then color it, for backgrounds it doesn't work all the times. And forests are definitely something that is better to do directly on color, which was something I wasn't really good at back then. Not that I mastered right now, but I definitely knows better lol

thanks! I was a bit torn between which hair type to follow, since even on the savage lands there are versions where it's the classic curly and some where it looks like a shampoo comercial ... so I went for something in between. Something "silky" but messy =D

Oh now this is absolutely stunning! All of the colours are so beautiful and vibrant, the textures throughout the background are gorgeous too and I love painterly style of it all. The hanging foliage and mixture of colours in the water are all excellent. And Rogue herself is an utter masterpiece! The lighting across her face is so very striking and the textures across her skin and definition of her anatomy are amazing. The wet/dirty tones on certain parts of her skin are an especially amazing attention to detail. Truly brilliant work on this piece! 👏👏👏👏👏
