So glad you liked her. It was definitely a lot of fun to do her. I had a lot of references to get the skin correctly + used my own hands as references for the image lol One thing that was surprisingly tricky to do was to add color. Color her skin / hair was perfectly fine, but it was really tricky to get the ambient light right. It was definitely a great image to work at =D

I am truly blown away by this piece, your hard work and dedication to this painting are just staggering to behold! 👏👏👏👏👏 I scarcely know where to begin! I suppose I'll start by saying that the lighting here is gorgeous, the way the warm glow runs across Iris' face and down her left shoulder/back is so very striking against the surrounding shadows, while I love the slight purple tint to the shadows that are particularly noticeable in her raised right hand and fingers, the part of her hair below it and along the ridge of her left hand and left shoulder. Something I especially love is how brightly her green eye shines, as well as the shine that runs across her lower lip. While her left hand just looks incredible! The lighting and textures are beyond any ability to describe, I especially love her thumb, something about it just looks so masterfully done. Hell, all of her skin looks truly astounding, the textures, the details, the little moles and freckles running along it as well as the definition of her anatomy. Normally I like to go a little more in-depth with describing things but I seriously struggle here and all I can do is just exclaim in amazement at your skill! 👏👏👏👏👏 Her hair is equally breathtaking with such a gorgeous texture to it and so much detail. I really like how the hair furthest from her head has this extra softness to it that shows that motion as it falls, while still being so beautifully detailed as strands twist, curl and overlap. Her fringe is particularly nice with the warm glow highlighting specific strands as they dart along her forehead. Everything else is given such loving detail too with the shining metallic surfaces of her ear-rings and necklace, with the necklace being particularly impressive as it's more affected by the lighting while also realistically conforming to her body and fingers as it wraps around them. The texture of her shirt also looks gorgeous with the definitions of the folds as the lose material falls around her, the transparency teasing her breasts is so very sensual and I love how the strap that slides down her shoulder is twisting too. I was already very eager to see this Iris painting and I knew that it would be great, but I really could not have anticipated just how masterful it would truly be! The lighting, the atmosphere, textures, Iris' beautiful face and eyes, her perfectly rendered anatomy with such detailed skin, her intricate and flowing hair... it's all so perfect and lovingly crafted, the effort you put in is evident even with a cursory glance and only becomes all the more obvious as more time is spent admiring this masterpiece 😻😻😻😻😻 Truly outstanding work here, you should definitely be proud of this one and I can not wait to see the full resolution version and to really get to zoom in and see all of those textures (the goosebumps are so good!)
