Thanks! I wanted to give i ta painting style/color similar to the ones in the comic. The metal parts are usually a mess in the comics, so I wanted to create the idea that there's a "direction" going. As in they start on her hand and move across her body. It was definitely an interesting image to work at. I wasn't so sure about the background at first, but I liked the end result and how it blurs out of focus from the ground to the back =)

Oh I love the colours in this painting, there's a certain warmth to the background, as there is also with her hair and skin, which all contrast nicely with the cool tones of her clothes and her witchblade stuff (I'm not familiar with this character at all 😂). The rendering is as great as ever, from the shine and detail in her hair, to the softness of her skin and the parts of her body that we do see, as well as the texture to her clothes which I really like. The definition of her forms, specifically her neck and collarbones with the hint of her stomach, look fantastic and I really like all of folds in her pants. While all of the metal wrapping around her is very well done with it's own textures and intricate shapes. It's a little difficult to describe, but I like how it almost ripples and how well you've defined the plane changes as well as how the bronze looking sections seem to sink in to her, concave. Marvellous work on this piece, she looks terrific 😄

Thanks! Initially I thought about doing the red outfit (as in the first scene with the gauntlet) but she was pretty much just there, dying lol. So it wouldn't allow me to create a scene like that =)
