10 Color pieces! (NSFW)
🕑 Added 2024-12-01 03:53:53 +0000 UTCThis set involves some new materials that you all may be able to see immediately. I picked up a set of acrylic brush pens that let me lay down opaque color, instead of transparent like the copic inks do. It's a different experience, and has it's own challenges, but it lets me work lighter colors over a darker base easier than the colored pencils do. I'm trying to use that with a light touch for now, but it opens some interesting doors.
Also, the arctic fox piece is entirely colored pencil, which is something I've been afraid to do, until now. Learning colored pencils is daunting and not entirely intuitive for me, so the process of slowly adding them in, then letting them become more and more the focus of pieces seems to be the best way for me to learn. I plan on doing the same with the acrylic brush pens.
I think I'll wait until Monday to do the sale if you all are good with that. I've got a bit of a cold and want to just bundle up and SLEEP.
