We were without power for over a week after Typhoon Paka wrecked the Island of Guam with 175 MPH winds in 1997. Judicious use of a generator and Colman lanterns and the BBQ kept us going during during the outage. Plain Old telephone service was not affected and dial up internet worked using a laptop computer. It was rough but we managed. Hoping all is will with you. Take care. Be careful out there.
