I heard it said that Araki stated if DIO had known Giorno existed, he would have abandoned his plan for world domination and become a good, loyal father instead because DIO would never want to be like his worthless father had been to him. I don't know if that's TRUE or not, so don't quote me.

32:08 Not everybody has this picture of Dio, the anime just used it in place of the other pictures of Dio that the manga used. The picture in Giorno's wallet is meant to be a different one, the picture that Jotaro has is the right one and it's the picture that Joseph took using his spirit photography early in Part 3.

actually Joseph was 19 when they held the funeral for him after Suzie Q forgot to send that telegram, so they're all teens doing way more dangerous stuff than they should be doing. they should be on the couch watching cartoons drinking choccy milk under a cozy blankie, not saving the universe from (besides lowercase dio) older men with more power than capacity for empathy

SPQR on Luca's shovel is an abbreviation of Senatus Populusque Romanus, meaning "The Senate and People of Rome". Its sorta ancient Rome's equivalent of the USAs "In God We Trust" and was used in a lot of the same ways as that phrase. Its still on official Roman emblems and such.
