It’s been a minute since you’ve watched those first couple episodes, but the scene in the pub is a parallel to the Shanks scene with the Mountain Bandits. It was hinted at in episode 137 but they don’t really make it clear, just letting u know!

'Refuse to elaborateah' yeah the Oda trademark and reason why this manga is still on going because he litteraly never elaborate on anything lmao. But Pre TS OP is still great. Skypea is in my top 3 favorite arc hope you will enjoy the adventure.
