Deli Worker (Short real life story)
🕑 Added 2023-03-23 20:39:02 +0000 UTCHave you ever worked in a Deli before? If yes, then you know what I am talking about. If no? Then believe me when I tell you... it sucks.
I currently work in a Deli and it is not all it's cracked up to be in movies. Not only am I helping customers with their orders, but we also are frying foods constantly, using the ovens constantly, making sandwiches on a sandwich bar that isn't even set up properly. And that's not including all the dishes we clean, meats we slice, and constant cleaning we are doing, ALL while helping customers. Sometimes we have so much going on that we never actually are able to finish the task we initially started. I'm currently required to wake up at 3 am to get to work at 5 am to prepare to open, and 9 out of 10 times I'm staying overtime because I get so far behind having to do a bazillion things at once. But hey, more money right.
But there is one thing that motivates me to keep going in every day..... The eye candy.
Now when I say "eye candy" I'm not meaning the occasional handsome guy walking by, cuz let's face it, there are several great looking guys that walk by every day. No no. I'm talking about the big men with the big round bellies that stop by to order something every day. I'm talking about the men with round solid pregnant looking bellies that stick out over their waistline like a basketball, or the guy that is big and heavy that you know that if you were to feel them hug you you would be enveloped by their body mass and just sink into that comfort.
For instance, there is one man that looks like Santa. White hair, long white beard. He always wears a tan hat and shirt that gives him a sort of Indian-Jones-in-his-late-60s feel. But the best part? He keeps the top 4 buttons of his shirt undone and open so you can see his chest covered in a forest of graying fur, and the top curve of his hairy belly. Every time he comes in I can't help but smile at seeing his handsome face, and gorgeous chest and beginning of his belly, that I know the more he orders from us the bigger it will get. I can't wait till that gut is really straining his shirt, more so than what it does now. I often imagine bending him over and shoving food in his mouth while I breed him. Sadly I never got his name. I hope to soon.
Next, there is Beary. He's a big man who I would say wears little over 300 lbs. He's thick all over, and has a body that fills out his clothes like a marshmallow wanting out of his clothes. I swear that I have met him before somewhere, but can't place where. But he has long graying brown hair that he keeps tied back. He doesn't have a beard on his plump face, but he does have nice scruff that he keeps trimmed. I can only imagine what it would feel like to feel his whiskers scratch against my face if I kissed him. He tends to order 8 piece fried chicken, or our chicken strips, which I make daily.
Then, there is Tom. Not so plump as Beary, but more linebacker builder. He's bulky but definitely could do with eating less or dinner (or in my opinion, twice as much at every meal). He has a belly that bulges out just enough to roll over his waistline and gives him the beginning of what could become a nice apron. He tends to buy our chicken strips at least 3 times a week.
Lastly, I personally call him Pregnant Marine. But his name is Joe (ironically). I wouldn't say he's extremely handsome, but he does catch my eye. He comes in wearing his typical camo pants and boots, and typically gets about one pound each of 3 different meats, quickly followed by ordering 3 of our salads that I prep daily as well. But the best part is the effect this all shows on his body. He wears a tight, army green long sleeved under-armor shirt that doesn't just outline his thick arms, but also hugs and accentuates his plump protruding round solid pregnant looking belly. I often times step to the side of the counter just so I can get a good look at his gut. The way his shirt stretches across its surface, the way it outlines his navel and makes me want to plunge my tongue into it. The way that he looks as though he's overdue with my cub growing in his belly and I want to bend him over and put another inside him.
These are all the things that encourage me to keep going back to work. To see these men. That's not including all the men walking around with their big bellies, and some even with their bellies peaking from their shirts (Not joking, we have a guy that stocks shelves whose belly ALWAYS hangs out from under his shirt). There is also a man that I see in the store every single day, walking around, swaying with his protruding belly leading the way. When I see all these guys, it helps me to forget how crappy this job is and actually helps the day go by much faster.
Now if only I could get to talk to Officer Daddy and get him ordering food from us and watch his belly start growing.
