The old "Art Tips" Question

so, is it just 40 minutes of you saying "practise" over and over? XD ( I kid, of course. :P)

I'm not a fan of tracing for the sake of copying a body part, but it's a powerful tool for quickly memorizing a specific shape or template. Tracing construction drawings is not a bad way to understand animal parts and poses. As long as you also practice freehand from memory and experiment with variation, you can learn complex form very, very quickly.
