your little ramble around the 10 minute mark about spending formative years in the spotlight is so spot on and even more deeply sad now. i’ll always be thankful for the good years 1D gave little me (i was younger than they were and much of the disturbing stuff around making a bunch of teenage boys megastars still didn’t click for me), but child stardom is just…so depressing and so dangerous. what good can come from an industry so willing to discard you after hollowing you out like that?

Yes, would love to see reactions to their X Factor performances. You really see their growth over those 10 weeks. Not all performances are great perhaps but it's really fun to see where they started, being so young and inexperienced.

WMYB got me into them but XFactor and these is what made me fall in love with them!

Louis is pure chaos, you totally forget he is the oldest among them here! I think his playful chaos was what kept them all sane and having some sort of childhood still through all of this. Since from the xfactor house onwards their time and schedules weren't theirs to choose and they've said how they used to go on stage and them be locked in their hotel rooms afterwards because they couldn't leave to go do anything outside without being swarmed. They continued to have these inside jokes and moments of silliness in the interviews, videos and on stage which seemed to keep everything feeling a bit more fun and a little less stressful

STEVEN im gonna put a link to a YouTuber called Julia Keating, they have done an entire series of the boys on xfactor, including loads of backstage stuff, their performances in full etc right from their auditions all the way through to the final. 14 different vids all 30-60mins long so that would make an incredible series for you to react to. We did send u a few of their performances on twitch but only maybe 3/4 of them, there is still so many u haven't seen.
