Many bourbons have an ABV over 50% which can feel very burny. It's common to cut them with a bit of water to curb the alcohol level a bit and bring out the flavors.

I once had an OL plot in mind where Veronika tracks down Fisk to his home and decides to try to mess up the family. I ended up abandoning that idea for one reason or another. It was so long ago, I don't remember why, exactly. But I had envisioned a home invasion scene where Elizabeth clobbers Veronika from behind with an iron skillet.

I would love to see more of these two, but after reading a reply you made to someone else, I'd have to agree, you can't force creativity. I wonder if they would make a good "True Lies" furry couple, though I'd think that Elizabeth would already be more inclined to kick ass first instead of being lead into it like Jamie Lee Curtis. I bet Fisk would be able to crank out the one liners though! Love your work!
