Chapter 17: Information
🕑 Added 2025-08-06 14:53:35 +0000 UTC"Don't worry, everyone. After all, they aren't necessarily our enemies, and we don't have to fight them. At least not yet."
"Besides, the Uchiha's strength is far beyond what anyone imagines. As long as some or even one of us reaches Madara's level of power, we can claim our place in this world and become a force to be reckoned with."
Yami offered some reassurance to the assembled clan members.
These were simply the facts of their situation, and there was no point in refusing to accept reality.
After hearing Yami's words, many people visibly relaxed and released the tension they had been holding.
Several faces in the crowd had been tight with stress just moments before, as if they were preparing for immediate combat.
"Of course, the World Government's power cannot be entirely concentrated within the Navy alone. There should also be intelligence organizations, but those groups operate in such secrecy that gathering information about them proves extremely difficult."
"The World Government represents the most powerful force in this world. It's important for everyone to understand this fundamental reality."
Yami continued his briefing with methodical precision.
The clan members had feared that Kage level fighters were a lot in this world, almost like every person they’d meet would be one, but Yami corrected that thought.
"The next force I'll explain opposes the World Government directly; they're called the Revolutionary Army."
"The leader of this organization possesses the strength to battle against the Navy's strongest fighters, though the rest of their forces cannot match the Navy's elite. Still, they represent a relatively formidable power."
"Then there's the third major force capable of competing with the Navy, the pirates."
Here, he paused a bit to make sure they were following. He then nodded his head.
"They represent a chaotic force without unified leadership or central command structure."
"However, these pirates can compete with the Navy because among their ranks exist certain pirate groups with their captains known as the Yonko, the Four Emperors of the Sea."
"Currently, these are the Big Mom Pirates, the Red-Haired Pirates, the Beast Pirates, and the Whitebeard Pirates."
"Among them, the captain of the Whitebeard Pirates, Edward Newgate, is universally recognized as the strongest man in the world."
"The captains of the other three Yonko crews also possess strength capable of rivaling Admirals and even the Fleet Admiral himself."
"There's also the Shichibukai, a system the World Government uses to recruit powerful pirates to fight against the Four Emperors' forces. However, their combined real power could rival at most one of the Four Emperor crews."
Yami continued his comprehensive explanation of the political and military landscape.
The clan members below listened with rapt attention.
They found themselves genuinely curious about this strange new world, while simultaneously feeling amazed by the revelation that so many powerful individuals existed in this place.
"What I want to discuss next carries tremendous importance: the abilities that people in this world use for combat."
"I'll use genjutsu techniques to convey this information in detail. Verbal explanations alone would prove far too complicated and time-consuming."
Yami said this, because it would be too time consuming otherwise.
"Don't resist what you're about to experience, everyone. I can use genjutsu on up to one hundred people simultaneously. Those who receive the information first will then pass it along to other clan members."
Yami addressed the assembled crowd with clear instructions.
Everyone nodded quickly in understanding.
Some who had activated their Sharingan to see more clearly also promptly deactivated their dojutsu to avoid interference.
"[Genjutsu: Sharingan]!"
Yami directly employed genjutsu to transmit comprehensive information to the people in the front rows. The technique consumed enormous amounts of chakra, and even he would feel tired from that.
The strongest individuals, Uchiha Fugaku, Shisui, Itachi, and several team captains, awakened first from the illusion, their faces bearing expressions of complete shock at what they had witnessed.
The same pattern was followed for the other clan members who had received the genjutsu transmission.
"Quickly, use genjutsu on me."
"Don't just stand there looking stunned. I don't know anything yet."
"Hey, what are you waiting for?"
Many people in the back rows began urgently demanding their turn to receive the information.
The clan members who had received the initial transmission began spreading the knowledge throughout the crowd.
Shisui and Itachi worked the most diligently to share what they had learned.
After approximately ten minutes, all the people had finished receiving the transmitted information, their faces displaying a wide range of expressions reflecting their processing of this new knowledge.
"The Navy's Six Powers techniques can be countered by our abilities, including their swordsmanship and other conventional fighting methods. Under the observation power of the Sharingan, as long as our bodies can react quickly enough, we should be able to develop effective countermeasures."
"However, Devil Fruit abilities represent the biggest difference between this world and the ninja world. Beyond the natural-type fruits that mirror our five basic chakra natures, there exist very special abilities similar to kekkei genkai, specifically the Paramecia and Zoan types."
"Zoan types focus primarily on enhancing physical capabilities. A small number of Mythical Zoan species possess additional special abilities. Paramecia types present the most troublesome challenges because their effects are the most difficult to predict and counter."
"But these enemies face the same uncertainty when confronting us. Ninjas possess diverse fighting methods, so it won't be easy for them to quickly eliminate us before they can figure out our capabilities."
"Therefore, when you encounter Devil Fruit users, you have two primary options: either kill them with a single decisive strike using ninja techniques for maximum speed and efficiency."
"Otherwise, if you miss that critical first attack, retreat immediately and escape as far as possible. Don't waste time in prolonged combat with them. Most of the time, escaping to the sea will leave them helpless. Practically all Devil Fruit users cannot overcome their two greatest weaknesses, seawater and Seastone."
Yami provided tactical guidance based on the information he had just transmitted.
Although this intelligence had been included in the genjutsu transmission, Yami worried that his clan members might feel overwhelmed by Devil Fruit abilities and fail to think strategically about countering them.
After all, it would be like encountering a ninja with powerful kekkei genkai everywhere they went, certainly the most challenging aspect of operating in this world.
"Don't become discouraged by these revelations, because the Uchiha's journey in this world has only just begun, and we can acquire such powers ourselves."
"Armament Haki represents this world's primary method for dealing with Devil Fruit users!"
"Additionally, using genjutsu on people in this world proves ineffective because they lack chakra within their bodies. If you want to interfere with their minds, you can only rely on pure mental power projection. The clan will prioritize developing techniques in this area."
"Also, from this point forward, the clan's ninjutsu restrictions based on merit points are completely abolished. As long as you possess sufficient strength and understanding, you may practice any technique."
Yami concluded his briefing with these important points.
He wanted to boost everyone's confidence while providing them with honest, practical information.
As long as they could master Haki and develop effective strategies for dealing with Devil Fruit users, they wouldn't face insurmountable difficulties.
The real challenges would only arise when confronting enemies with genuinely superior strength.
According to this world's power classification system, fighters below Vice Admiral level, despite possessing impressive physical capabilities, could still be eliminated with a well-placed strike to vital points like the neck.
"Tomorrow, we'll organize a group of eighty people for our first sea voyage."
"The primary objectives will be obtaining funds, purchasing essential supplies, learning written languages, and gathering intelligence about local conditions."
"Those who wish to participate should register with your respective team captains. We'll conduct the selection process tonight and depart at noon tomorrow."
Yami announced the next phase of their integration plan.
Many clan members below felt their excitement rising.
After all, they had been essentially imprisoned within Konoha's restrictions for years.
Many had harbored ambitions and ideas that could never be realized under the village's oppressive oversight.
Now, with this opportunity to grow stronger and explore new possibilities, they naturally didn't want to miss their chance.
The sooner they could make contact with this new world, the faster they would be able to adapt and become stronger in this unfamiliar environment.
