Chapter 6: Youth

Uchiha Yami didn't hesitate and directly placed his hand on Itachi's neck, leaving a seal on it.
This seal could absorb the chakra in Itachi's body into the seal.
If someone tried to remove it without authorization, the chakra would be detonated to form a powerful electric current that would course through the bearer's body.
Itachi looked a little uncomfortable.
After all, the chakra's circulation route was suddenly affected, and his body's strength diminished significantly, making him feel weak.
"That's enough!"
Shisui felt a little sorry for his good friend.
He originally wanted Itachi to help him and be responsible for covering the clan's retreat.
Unexpectedly, Yami had forced Itachi to be sealed.
"There's one more thing, but this is the last step."
"[Genjutsu: Sharingan]!"
Uchiha Yami said.
At the same time, he used genjutsu directly on Itachi to deliver a message to him.
Shisui was shocked, but felt that if Yami really wanted to kill Itachi, there seemed to be no need to go through all this trouble.
In less than five seconds, Itachi woke up.
A look of shock appeared on his face.
It turned out that Yami had just told Itachi about the next plan through the illusion.
Uchiha Itachi now knew that Yami was actually preparing to take his clan members to another world, and was shocked by this amazing idea.
"Next, I will place you in a prepared stronghold in another world. Although you have no chakra, your ability to rely on taijutsu is enough to survive there."
"The plan will be carried out in three days. The clan will move there. You should go there first to confirm the situation and ensure safety."
After saying that, Yami directly opened the transmission channel to the world of One Piece.
Then, under Shisui's stunned gaze, he threw Itachi directly to the other side of the transmission channel, and then closed the portal immediately.
"Is Itachi really that dangerous?"
"Does it need to go to this extent?"
Shisui could see that Yami was trying to completely eliminate the unstable factor that was Itachi.
He felt insulted!
He had activated the Mangekyō Sharingan, but he had not been treated like this.
But Itachi was being targeted so seriously, and he felt very puzzled.
"Continue your mission and make sure our plans are carried out safely."
"If we make a mistake, the clan and Konoha will go to war directly, and I don't know how many people will be killed or injured."
Uchiha Yami offered no explanation.
Was he supposed to tell him that if this continued, Itachi's hands would be stained with the blood of the clan?
Speaking of that…
The people of Konoha were human, but the people of the clan were not human?
The Uchiha are inherently evil, blah, blah… then kill your little brother too.
"Understood!"
Hearing Yami's words, Shisui calmed down.
Although he was a little unhappy, Itachi was definitely safe, so he would let it go.
The mission was more important.

"Uchiha Itachi has also lost contact!"
Danzo frowned.
Today, Itachi did not arrive as promised, which made him very angry.
At this time, he couldn't tell whether Shisui and Itachi had been discovered by the clan, or whether they had switched sides and chosen the Uchiha.
"Danzo-sama, the clan seems to be purchasing medical and food supplies. The amount purchased is quite large."
"But there is no movement regarding ninja tools."
The person in charge of monitoring reported to Danzo.
These days, it could be said that ANBU and Root had almost no time to rest, and they were watching almost all of Konoha.
Except for the clan territory, which was really unable to penetrate, other places were basically covered by ANBU surveillance.
While dealing with the Uchiha, Danzo would not forget to target other families, such as the Hyuga clan.
The last time the Senju clan's assets were divided up, both the Hyuga and Uchiha were excluded.
Not long ago, because of the incident involving the envoy from Kumogakure Village, they had forced the death of the younger brother of the current Hyuga clan leader, Hyuga Hizashi.
The relationship between Konoha and the Hyuga clan was not very good now.
So, they had to be wary of them too.
"What are they planning to do?!"
Danzo was now irritated.
The two undercover agents losing contact had caused him to completely lose control over the situation.
The rejection of outsiders by the Uchiha was too great, so now there were few people in the clan who were loyal to the village leadership, and it was difficult to understand the situation.
"Arrange personnel to conduct an open investigation within the clan."
Danzo finally ordered.
Doing so would further provoke conflicts.
But now he didn't even understand the situation, and he couldn't plan the next step.
Although he also wished that they would disappear immediately, it was best not to fight if it could be avoided.
After all, if a war really broke out, Konoha would suffer heavy losses, and the surrounding villages would take advantage of the chaos to bite off chunks of Konoha's territory.
At that time, the benefits obtained from defeating them might not be able to make up for the losses.
"Yes!"
More than a dozen Root operatives around him immediately responded.
Then they disappeared in front of Danzo and started to carry out his orders.

"Kakashi, there seems to be some trouble brewing!"
Might Guy frowned and said to Kakashi.
Even someone like him, who was relatively slow to react to political matters, had sensed the recent conflict between the village and the Uchiha.
He didn't know why Kakashi had asked him to go to the clan territory to visit Obito's memorial today.
"I don't know what’s going on."
Kakashi said with a complicated expression.
His team was mainly responsible for external missions.
The same was true for ANBU's original responsibilities, they handled external tasks while the police force was responsible for internal matters.
Only Root was special.
They were responsible both internally and externally, and the things they did were very secretive.
However, a large number of ANBU had been transferred back to Konoha recently, and his subordinate Itachi had gone silent.
He knew that something serious must have happened in the village.
This included the mission they received yesterday, asking them to try their best to investigate what was going on inside the compound.
He knew that there would probably be a battle between the village and the Uchiha, but his bond with Obito made him have complicated feelings about this clan.
"Hurry up and finish paying your respects so we can leave. I feel like no one here is happy to see us!"
Guy said with a wry smile.
He didn't know about all these political undercurrents; this information was only circulated among the ANBU.
"Guy, it's good to see you."
But at this time, someone suddenly spoke up.
When Might Guy heard this familiar voice, his face immediately lit up.
"Yami, my friend! I can feel your youth radiating,"
Might Guy turned around and saw Yami, and immediately greeted him warmly.
Yami had been in the same class as them.
Although he was a year younger, during wartime, almost all ninja who had just graduated from Genin would go to the battlefield immediately.
The class divisions weren't as clear as they would be later with Naruto's generation.
So, Yami was very familiar with both Kakashi and Might Guy.
The three had fought side by side during the Third Shinobi World War, forming bonds that transcended clan politics.
Guy's genuine smile and Kakashi's slight relaxation of his shoulders showed that some friendships could weather even the storms of village politics.
"I happened to be in the area when I saw you two," Yami replied, though his expression remained carefully neutral.
The timing wasn't coincidental, he had been monitoring who entered and left the compound as part of the evacuation preparations.
