Cambion's Corner: State of the Game 05/18/2020

We are just about ready to announce the release date for the upcoming version 1.3.0 and we cannot wait for you all to get to enjoy our new characters and content. I thought I would take this week, though, to give you a bit of insight into where we are with Paradise Heights and what you can expect in the future with a new feature: The State of the Game post.
First, a quick review of our completed and announced content. Luciana and I continue to be blown away by your support. We genuinely expected our first months to be relatively slow as we built up a player base, and instead you all showed us a lot of support right from launch. We can’t thank you enough. We completed our first update (Version 1.2.0) that laid a lot of the story and mechanical groundwork moving forward, and update 1.3.0 will be our first content update to fill out the character ranks and offer you all a lot of choices for improve and adapt your tower to meet your needs.
The first of those needs we heard loud and clear. Changing others is fine, but some very good employees want the opportunity to be the kind of demon they want to be, so we announced update 1.4.0 will be focused on implementing a gender system for the main character. This gender system will allow for male, female, or futa PCs right from the start of the game, and will feature both modified versions of existing content and some brand new scenes for the new genders.
But all of that you know, now what can you expect going forward? Update 1.4.0 will be the last of our massive projects for a while, which we hope will lead to faster, smaller updates that don’t feature quite as much waiting. We are going to try to focus on breaking content into more discrete chunks that make sure you’ll always have something to be excited for in the near future.
In addition, expect more polls from us on future content. Now that the game has been established, it’s time for our executive board to start influencing the process. Starting after the release of 1.3.0 in June, we’ll be asking you what content you want us to focus on. Would you like more intimate time with your reserved researcher Mason? Do you want to expand on existing characters with new, romantic encounters? Should we focus on brand new characters to recruit and transform? Look forward to our content polls soon to make your voice heard as we begin plotting out our future improvements and additions. Also, if you have some ideas of stories you'd love to see in the future, go ahead and post them down below (though, as always, lets try to keep the comments somewhat safe for work).
