TSSITWON Chapter 167: Meeting Guy
🕑 Added 2025-01-19 12:35:05 +0000 UTCAlthough this technique is not as fast or practical as Hiraishin no Jutsu, at least Gyaku Kuchiyose no Jutsu is reliable enough to transport Aoki efficiently.
Upon arriving at Akarin's research laboratory, Aoki immediately asked Akarin to ensure Duy's health and keep his body in stable condition. After confirming that everything was under control, Aoki quickly headed to Kurisu's location.
Aoki wanted to get the latest information on the developments of the Third Shinobi World War, which was escalating. Especially after Duy had managed to take down four of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of Kirigakure. Aoki knew that the situation would become increasingly critical, and he had to be prepared for whatever was to come.

Somewhere in a quiet forest, two teenagers were sitting on a tree branch, observing the situation carefully.
The first was a teenage boy with silver-gray hair. Most of his face was covered by a mask, adding to his mysterious appearance. The boy was also wearing practical fighting attire: a short-sleeved black shirt with arm guards on both arms, and fitted black pants.
Next to the boy, there was a girl of the same age with short brown hair sitting quietly. She wore a long-sleeved black shirt and black shorts, covered by a white apron skirt. Bright red stockings covered her legs, and a red bracelet wrapped around her left wrist, providing a contrasting touch to her appearance.
They sat alert, their gazes fixed into the distance. However, the tranquility was shattered when they suddenly sensed someone's presence behind them. In an instant, they turned around.
A man with blonde hair stood before them, his face serious yet calm.
"Minato-sensei, what's going on? Are we leaving here?" Rin asked, her tone confused, her expression showing concern.
Minato sighed before answering, his voice sounding heavy. "Yes, we are going back to the post. By the way... Duy has died."
The statement instantly shocked Rin and Kakashi.
Although Kakashi often found Guy annoying and troublesome, he knew that Guy was an interesting and unique kid. Therefore, even though Kakashi rarely admitted it, he had considered Guy a friend. Hearing the news that Duy, Guy's father, had died weighed heavily on Kakashi's heart. Kakashi paused for a moment, but the grief was evident in his eyes.
"Duy's death has brought significant changes to this war, and the situation of the Third Shinobi World War has now become very unpredictable," Minato continued. He then looked at his two students, especially Kakashi, who seemed more affected by the news. "You must want to meet Guy, right?"
Minato directed his gaze at Kakashi and Rin, giving them time to process the news. Silence enveloped them for a moment, with only the sound of the wind rustling through the leaves.
"Yes," Rin and Kakashi replied almost in unison while nodding.
Without further ado, they quickly left the place with Minato.

Upon arriving at the Konoha defense post, Kakashi, Rin, and Minato immediately searched for Guy. They walked briskly past the tents of ninjas busy with their injuries and equipment. Finally, they found the intended tent. Inside, the atmosphere felt heavy, filled with a sadness that hung in the air.
As they entered, their eyes were drawn to Might Duy's lifeless body. Duy's body was covered in severe burn wounds, remnants of a fierce battle. Even in death, Duy's body displayed his tenacity and bravery.
Near Duy, Guy sat with his head bowed.
