Thanks, from my hilly, wooded dirt road. Fiber optic is our very reliable connection to the world. (Living in a state where 2/3 of the roads are unpaved, I, like many, have no cell service at home nor on most of my commute. We never even had cable on this road. But we had DSL earlier than most of the nation, and we have had fiber optic for over a decade.)

We couldn’t have starlink on our property if we wanted… too many trees. Lots of rural people like us are in the same boat, which would be the beauty of fiber. Trump and Rogan have next to no idea that people live in a multitude of circumstances that make their simple solutions worthless. I don’t care for these privileged idiots.
