Warmup - MKX
🕑 Added 2016-10-21 21:46:18 +0000 UTC MKX's warmup for this month, coloring last month's. Probably won't do rune detail like this on a regular basis for a warmup. It took longer than expected.

Let me know if you figure it out. ;)

I just knew the quote, so I'm still out on translating
MKX Player
Close, but that's not the entire meaning. It's a taunt to a group in this character's universe.

There is no fate but what we make for ourselves. From the Terminator 2 movie
MKX Player
I'll give a hint, don't want to spoil everything. The first part is: "There is no fate."
Gramuel089
It does seem to repeat at some points but I've got nothing on what it could mean
Gramuel089
I give up. I've tried but I can't make any headway on translating
MKX Player
They do actually translate into English.

As far as I can tell they are just a jumble of letters, unless the say something in Old Norse

I'm impressed. I didn't think anyone would know what their origin was. Now, if you could tell me what they say, I'd probably shit myself. :P

"Alright, who's the joker who scrawled a short story all over my armor?"
Wm. Van Ness
In practice you can draw from the right shoulder better with your right hand;.(Think of how Robin Hood carries his arrows.)
Glenn Sellers
Whoa! Is he left-handed? That's unusual for a knight. (I'm left-handed. I notice these things. LOL.)

Looks like a member of the dark brother
That looks like Dwemer text.
Wolfcub
Looks like a mean dude.

The Norse runes on the edges of the armor look really cool!
