Well done

Jay Naylor

I haven't had the time or ideas to advance the comic. Sorry.

Dunkmasterjohn

Hey any updates yet I have been waiting so long

TY 2022

Any chance we could get a 'Races of Cottonwine' comic in the near future?

Thatguy1119

Smart

Kubas_inko

if you look at: http://jaynaylor.com/originallife/archives/12comic-551-600/ you will find out that there are just 2 posts from year 2015. So funny :D

TomRedlion

But don't be afraid to innovate. You've done awesome so far.

TomRedlion

...Yeah. Probably for the best.

TonyHLM

... right that would be too much to ask when it comes to the plot of the new pages. Just got a little excited seeing the new pages on your old website, can't wait too see the new ones then, the picture ones were funny with the back drop, should have done that when I was in school, like use one of deep blue sea and I would have been remembered in high school. I'm sorry if I asked too soon hope you continue your work to your own comfort as we fans support you.

Jay Naylor

Do you want me to explain the entire plot ahead of time to you, or would you rather wait for the pages to be posted, so you can read it yourself?

James

I just saw the newest entry, and I like it a lot. It's a good idea, not leaving the impression the kids are apart of the adult stuff. They can't all be Fisk. I shudder every time.

TonyHLM

If I can question the recent page of OL; what can are they supposed to be going to? is there an upcoming one soon or is it just a fast forward to comic con 2016? Also Thomas is supposed to be Iron man right, Just making sure it's not like a different franchise.

Glenn Sellers

I agree wholeheartedly with your decision. There are too many people out there would wouldn't hesitate to jump on said bandwagon just to demonize you, and any other artist, who does both family type comics and adult type comics. I also appreciate your idea of posting a link which will allow us to read the comic updates AND comment so you know how well we like what you've done.

M

Good decision. There always is a time and place for everything.

Silvador

A fair and valid reasoning.

Wolfcub

Your right.

pokediginut

Makes sense, not a problem. You said you'd post the link with each update so we got it regardless :)

LOL I miss that old site lmao. Dang I wish it was still up. I love this one because damn, to actually know the artist is actually here and listening and replying to people and to see his new work and what's going on with him is so awesome!!! But I will always love his older stuff. I LOVE his old sketches!

I can totally understand your decision. But in the end everything from Jay Naylor is worth reading or consuming. For me it does not matter where it's published! 😉

Peach or Man

Good foresight, I think it promotes a more profesional asthetic as well...and you might be able to turn a bit of a profit on the increased traffic to the old site. I know i used to check it every single monday and friday till the hiatus.

Very good idea. As much as I'd love to see Original Life again, I would HATE to see something happen to your page because someone thinks the younger characters are being sexualized rather than them being in completely separate kind of illustration/story.

Ivory Sai'ee

It is a good call as there is always someone who will jump to conclusion and this will cover you ass

Kam Pendragon

Didn't even occur to me. That's a good call to take them down. Will you include a link to the page for each announcement?
