I think was supposed to be the sound of hanging up a corded phone! I was surprised they didn’t pick it, but maybe too on the nose?
Actually yes. In a fairly early episode they had a British guest on the show who said that shaclackety was the sound of pots an pans falling. That is, if my memory serves me right.
Is Shaclackety an onomatopoeia?
